Reason for editing: Forced HEVC for OP6

Exactly.

The left photo is OP6, the right one is Mi Max 2 (not top on the camera, of course, but there are no other phones on hand now).
The difference in saturation is amazing. Well, Max 2 completely filled the sky, although HDR is on.

Vanplas also XDR he?

Yes of course.
With that, manually. Noticed not very nice feature for me. If you put HDR Auto, then it sometimes does not turn on in those cases when it should obviously turn on.

Left photo - OP6, right - Mi Max 2

In the topic of discussion, Mi max 2 laid out a photo in comparison with op3t, on max2 we get more contrast colors, I think this is still a minus. In RR colors are more real.

on max2 more contrast colors are obtained

Well, this is a trend. Xiaomi just copy the behavior of top firms. In top Samsung, the colors are often also warmer and more contrasting than they actually are.

I have the exact opposite situation. Auto mode works just great, HDR rarely turns on and only when needed. ATClub OR3made a comparison of cameras, so the automatic mode behaves just wonderful.

Optical stabilization only at 60fps.

No OIS while shooting 4K video. There is only EIS at 1080p / 2160p @ 30fps, at 2160p 60fps there is no EIS.

in 4K 30fps video is less detailed, in my opinion not real 4K, the crop factor is different (angle of view), interpolation is visible (upscaling) - for that, it is possible to use EIS

* Daniiiik49,
Was it difficult to take such photos on OP3? It turned out very cool, in my opinion. OP6 in many places with poor lighting looks less advantageous.

Rep: (826)
* Mousehunter from OP3 stood for 10 seconds for each shot with delayed breathing (except for those with normal exposure). OP6 just clicked and went on. OP6 to OP3 with high gcam settings still work and work.

Rep: (60)
* X61 , did you decide so, because it says that OIS is only for photos?

Optical stabilization is immediately noticeable on the screen during photographing / shooting video. While filming 4K 30fps video on the screen, everything is trembling as in 4K 60fps, but then when watching 4K 30fps video, the stabilization is clearly visible, at 60fps it is not (EIS). I gave the link, look at the video 4K 30 / 60fps (walking)

Rep: (60)
* X61 , I have already read a bunch of reviews and videos. Everyone says that it is in 60 FPS. This is one of the developers in the social. Network confirmed. Somewhere here even the link was like. Yes, and I think that I see it, especially in the video where it is compared with other phones without it. And this is definitely not software stabilization.

Rep: (826)
* X61 I do not understand what the problem is? OIS is used in 4 @ 60, you can check it by opening the camera. In 4 @ 30, an EIS with crop is used.

Rep: (50)
just checked, you are right, in 4K 60fps there is an OIS, but there is no EIS, and vice versa - in 4K 30fps there is an EIS, but there is no OIS.

Rep: (139)
Optical stabilization is an iron part, it cannot work / or not. She will always be.

Rep: (3)
* HTC_1,
Most likely 4K 60fps removes the main module, it has an OIS, and 4K 30fps removes the second module that does not have an OIS and the EIS is turned on. That's all.

Most likely 4K 60fps removes the main module, it has an OIS, and 4K 30fps removes the second module that does not have an OIS and the EIS is turned on. So in

4K 30 and 60 fps removes the same module.

Rep: (826)
wolf.icefire @ 05/30/2018, 11:01*
and 4K 30fps removes the second module, which does not have an OIS and the EIS is turned on there.
Do not invent nonsense. Video shoots in all modes one main module.

Rep: (3)
* Daniiiik49,
I do not argue. I myself do not yet have 6 hands. But on 5T 1080/60 removes one module, and 1080/30 and 4k / 30 removes another.

Rep: (18)
* wolf.icefire, I also had this impression. The viewing angle - 1080/60, 4k / 60 are the same and wider than those in 720, 1080/30 and 4k / 30. That suggests the idea of using a different module.
