OpenWRT 18.06 ... got up without problems, 3G modem picked up

Why do you need OpenWRT when the rooter is better, since all modules are standing and configured for the modem, TiSt firmware is already the head of the wholeness for use with modems

Now installed through the web interface OpenWRT

On the Rooter website downloaded the firmware for Archer C7 Ver 5 there in the instruction said
    in its name.

    In ITS Name Only

If I'm not mistaken, you need to put Factory but when I try to pour it through the interface, the router does not put it.
I need to rename it ?? To install.

* moby010, Rooter is good .. Modems clings without problems. It is made on the OpenWRT database and therefore, if OpenWRT is installed, you can immediately fill up the Update Rooter firmware from the web interface that I did. I just restored the router after squeezing (after the firmware of the old DDWRT from the header and apparently at some stage, the article is a section) and I already stood OpenWRT.
And in Rooter I still see that the LEDs do not display the connection of the USB modem and the availability of the Internet, although everything works. (maybe it is configured somewhere?)

If OpenWRT is installed, you can immediately fill Update

Well, and you can immediately fill the rooter firmware without filling OpenWRT, and even how to pour the OpenWRT firmware through the web interface or through the program?

Well, in general, in the idea of the factory firmware, you must first put the "Factory" file from the web interface, and then install "Update" from there. Why factories is not placed from the web interface of the factory firmware - I do not even know.
By the way, the same instruction is written for DDWRT. I did so according to the instructions (the files took from the header), Factory was fine normally, and during the UPDATE firmware something went wrong and I was waiting for fun days and nights)). So you can flash the Factory OpenWRT firmware from the web interface and then click from there to flash update from Rooter. The problem in the Factory firmware DDWRT, which is specified in the header - it turns off the RESET button and then it is not necessary to make FTTP Recovery. I hope in other Factory firmware such a paddown is not provided.) But even if so, then won the good people dump posted .. it will be possible to restore through the UART.

If someone knows where the Syrian and at what address is written to write

And what is the serial there? It is necessary to know it to find .. And how did Full-Flash dump be removed from the router with a famous serial to find it there?

OpenWrt firmware

In short, I flooded Rooter according to the OpenWRT instructions via FTTP

Question to those who stitched Breed on Archer C7 V2. What kind of Breed poured and how.

Rep: (18)
I sewed according to the instructions in this threadhttps: //forum.openwrt....-OverClock/9757? Page = 4. When accelerating AHB, 380MHz seems a bit too much. Then I put a divider from memory to 2 (760 / (2 + 1) = 253), so it seems more stable. Month 1GHz stable and without clock drift. In the datashet on QCA9558 it is said that the AHB frequency affects not only on USB, and also on SPI (ROM) ... who in this regard experimented and tested - write off

Help guys, the head is not cooking already
If the firmware is removed, and the recovery of the dump you can change the password of Wifi and poppy addresses, (and the last two signs of the poppy change and the name of the WiFi network).
But at the same time, if the router is already registered by the client in the cloud service TP Link, then further users restored their router through the pouring of the dump from such a router will be unavailable.

Attempting to shift the poppy address, it is also not crowned with success, since in the Cloud Service tab will write "Page is not available."

The only correct solution is to restore the poppy + serial

Compare two dump and found where it is registered:

And serial himself: 22031w1002939

Need to be decrypt: ((

With that, the second dump serial also starts at 800043c0278cea3c8147dc02614433561be21f03

Yes, with a rollback to 253 MHz, the logs stopped swearing on the AdBlock and the overflow of memory went. Mistress note!)

Depends on the settings ...

I put on the maximum on the manual from the DDVRT forum, the signal is more powerful on the drain. Returned to stock.
