Oversec complete agnostic regarding the underlying application, it works with WhatsApp в„ў, Line в„ў, Snapchat в„ў, Instagram в„ў or any other instant messaging application. It also supports the sending and receiving encrypted messages PGP in Gmail в„ў, or any other e-mail application.
End-to-End encryption is already possible yesterday. Oversec is "Eye-to-Eye" encryption. The encrypted data is decrypted only when they are displayed on the screen! Fuzzy text is not always preserved, and thus can not be extracted from the file system or accidentally been backed up to the cloud.
We also carefully developed Oversec so that it does not require access to the Internet. Therefore, you can be sure that no bits of the decoded data can not leave your device.
How it works: Oversec continuously monitors the text on the screen. When he finds a cipher text, it attempts to decode it and then displays the decoded text as an overlay instead of the ciphertext. On the other hand, it can read the text in the input field, encrypt it, and then place the encrypted text back into the input field.
To encrypt text, Oversec shows the button next to the active input field. After you enter text, pressing this button allows you to read text Oversec, encrypt it and put back in the ciphertext. Now, when sending in the underlying application as usual - the application does not even know what it sends the encrypted data!
Oversec also has a unique coding method of encrypted messages. It stores the encrypted text in invisible (zero width) characters, and allows you to add superimposed text at the end. Thus, the message is simply to display, for example, "The sun is shining!" no visible signs of any encryption, while in reality it contains a hidden encrypted message.
You can also encrypt and send photos via Oversec - its unique camera mode allows you to receive and send encrypted photos without storing original pictures on the device.
Oversec encrypts the data using a symmetric key (cipher using ChaCha20 + Poly1305 MAC) or via PGP asymmetric encryption (using OpenKeychain application [

Code associated with encryption - open source, it is placed here:
