The whole truth about the battery
Since the topic is often asked questions about how to properly charge the tablet, it was decided to make a special spoiler, under which reliable, official information will be collected:
  • Lithium-ion batteries have a high specific capacity, which provides a longer operating time with less weight. In addition, lithium-ion batteries can be recharged at any time, without waiting for them to fully discharge or recharge.
  • Most Li-ion battery is first charged to 80% in fast mode, and then proceed to trickle charging. For example, you will need about two hours to charge the iPad up to 80%, and then another two hours to charge the battery until the end - on the condition that you do not use your device while charging. Lithium-ion batteries can be recharged a large number of times, but this number is not infinite. It is the number of charge cycles. The implication is that you should use the charge to the end, but not necessarily charge the battery in one step. Let's say you use the iPad for several hours during the day. You use half the battery and then charge it to the end. If the next day you do the same thing, you get one charge cycle, not two, that is, one cycle can take several days. After each cycle of charging the battery capacity decreases slightly, but you can not worry: will take many charge cycles before the battery capacity on your laptop, iPod or iPad will decline to 80% of the original.
  • Lithium-ion batteries require constant maximum loads. If you do not use the device too often, spend at least one full charge cycle once a month.

Please tell us in more detail about such aspects as assembly, work time, work speed, preferably in comparison with the 4th generation :) thanks. I myself plan to buy in mid-late November. Judging by the signature, similar to your version.

Well, at the moment about the time of work I will not say anything, it's too early :) By speed: it works really faster than 4 on the 7th wasp, but still there are minor lags (you need to wait for the update). Assembly at the highest level, no creaking, squeals, etc. :)

Rep: (535)
I bought white, although I wanted black, but at the last moment there was only this option :( Before that, there was 4 white colors ... I hadn’t bought a case yet, maybe I’ll take black or red :)

I wonder when the official PCT will appear in Russia ...
Tell me, in the case of iPad Air, which model should I take to work with Russian LTE? Will an American work in LTE in Russia?

Rep: (1)
Also today I purchased this subject. After the 3rd seems like a fluff. Assembly at a height - there is no backlash and creak. Screen without lights. About the time of the data is not yet. Well, there are small lags (the axis is a bit not finished) I think with 7.1 everything will be fixed. The speakers after the third are just awesome. What questions will contact

Rep: (535)
A little bit about autonomy! When I took the iPad out of the box, it was 80% charged, after 5 hours of use (Internet, games, programs + max. Brightness) 32% remained ... Firmware 7.0.3 (out of the box)

It is convenient compared to previous generations of weight.
Icons are not pressed, at least I did not feel any discomfort due to the reduction of the framework
