ATTENTION! ExDialer:
- is not an independent dialer ("dialer"). It can not be a replacement for the standard "Phone" (Phone.apk) of your device; by disabling or deleting that, you cannot make and receive calls;
- not builtCaller ID. It is not responsible for the interface during an incoming / outgoing call (photo, number, etc.);
- does not have an independent contact editor. Uses the standard "Contacts" editor (Contacts.apk) of your device; by disabling or deleting which, you cannot edit contact data. If you delete or disable the standard "Gallery" (Gallery3D.apk), you will not be able to edit the contact's photo;
- does not support correct operation on dual sim devices. Does not provide a choice of SIM card to call. Does not show which SIM card the call was received. Photographer's comment: " Android SDK does not support dual SIM devices. Therefore, I cannot solve this problem until Google releases a new version of the SDK with support for two SIM cards. ";
- not responsible forcounter outputcalls to the application icon.

With some versions switched to exDialer, functionally it began to organize, design and usability at a height. The memory is kept nice, quick search, opens too quickly, but there is one thing: when you open with a delay adds to the last call log, regardless of how long ago it was, if not since been called exDialer. During this time have time tapnut the desired number to update the list and the call is not there, and already on the updated list. This is a common problem, or just me?

Quick solution to the problem with notifications on Android 2.3 for rooted phoneswithout using titanium backup (paid!) :

Reason: the dialer cannot remove the notification of a missed call, because Google has forbidden changing notifications to non-system programs in Android 2.3.
Solution: make the dialer systemic!
1. Install the dialer.
2. with any explorer (I use File Expert) with root-rights, move the file com.modoohut.dialer-1.apk from the folder / phone memory / data / app to the folder / phone memory / system / app /

In this case, you do not need to delete and reinstall the program, just go to the program management, find the stock dialer and press the button in it: "delete defaults". And then select the desired when requested.
