Well, let's try - for example. You have (on desktops, let's say at home and at work) in the dropbox folder several folders: favorite pictures (50 gigabyte size), favorite video (100 gigabyte size), favorite music (20 gigabyte size) and documents (100 meg sizes) And all of them, respectively, synchronize through the dropbox - so in the standard client you will not be able to synchronize only one folder (eg documents), not touching the rest. And, accordingly, after installing the standard client, eg. On the phone where the memory of only a few gigabytes (is clearly less) is not a touch of settings on other computers, it will try there to pour everything on dropbox (all 170.1 gigabytes from the example).
Of course, if you have synchronized via dropbox onlyone comp, or only one folder, then you simply specify in the standard client what exactly you want to synchronize, and that's all, you do not need to use another client who can synchronize not everything, but only the one you need part .
