Spotify & SD external card
The only way to date to get the opportunity to upload music to the device android on an external memory card. Works 100%.
At the beginning of the year, the service released a single version of the client, which made it possible to choose a storage location, then closed and removed all the developments in a distant closet, without any explanation.
1. Downloading an old client
Spotify.
2. We clean out all the data and cache of your current client. Then delete. I also rebooted, so for sure.
3. At the time of installation do not log in. Just run the app. And press the MENU button of your smartphone.
4. Then tap SD location, bottom right.
5. The path should be to your external sd card. For example, the Samsung Galaxy Note is / sdcard / external_sd (without a slash at the end). Different models and different manufacturers, different ways, so check it in advance to write correctly. For if it fails, it will be necessary to clean the data and re-enter. If not reinstall.
6. Login with the client. It opens the application under windows, we look at the synchronization, if you see the volume of the external card, everything worked out, if not, look for an error and most likely on the way to the sd card.
7. Make the first download of a playlist so that the data starts loading. If everything is ok, roll the latest actual version of the top over it (today it is 0.5.4.73)
8. Profit.
