I twist the gamma a little (reduce) in the pictures I post (don't be surprised) and sometimes unscrew the color ... The screen of the A500 is unfortunately pretty fig. Especially gamma and contrast. Programmatically, of course, does not fix physical limitations, but you can still try to do self-deception :)
By the way, many have written here about the difficulty in selecting the whole picture .. Most likely, a third-party launcher is used, or rather, ADW EX 1.44 or some version .. When it is, the built-in gallery in OS 3.1 is twisted relative to the proportions of the desktops that are controlled by the launcher.
In general, if it is easier, then use your own. It may not be convenient for someone cheaply but reliably and practically as they say. So far, unfortunately, not yet brought to mind and 100% optimized for 3.x androyd launchers. Well, or send nafig native gallery and put quickPic 1.3 there is nothing to select anything .. selection to the whole picture at once.

Yes, in general, there are no problems. We are looking for a favorite image in good resolution and in Photoshop we adjust it to the resolution we need. Against the background of reviews about problems with wallpapers from the Gallery, I can say that I didn’t have problems to put wallpapers (previously prepared for our permission) from the Gallery (button Settings - Wallpaper - Home Screen Wallpaper - Gallery, then expand the light square to the full width of the picture GalaxyTab P1010 for me).
And here is the method describedhere, I did not succeed: when replacing TwWallpaperChooser.apk with my own, the option to select wallpaper from the settings button - The wallpaper simply disappears. Something the author of the topic keeps back.
In short, I’ll finish what I’d been asking for here: P and turn to the topic. I took care to put myself on the P1010 some thread moderately gothic wallpaper. It was useful to look for the Internet and after screening out the open slag that’s what dug up. Opened in Photoshop and drove under our permission.
