To set up VLC, simply download and run the following script on your PC (Windows only):
(Remember, for the first time, you need to run it as an administrator: right-click on it, and select "Run as administrator" in the context menu)

What does the script do?
Basically, it runs VLC with the web interface enabled, and passes some parameters to improve the search codec and streaming performance of the RTSP protocol.
