Gave a subject. It turned out to be some kind of ridiculous SecureDrive data encryption system, dividing the device into two disks. Because of this, nothing but the computer and laptop can not read this flash drive. It was actually needed for use with any kind of multimedia, but it turned out to be such a “miracle” ... In general, the question is: can I remove this miracle section and make a normal flash drive?

Download the utility from the manufacturer to format this flash drive, and format it.
You can download here -http://www.transcendrussia.ru/Support/DLCe...amp;DLKeyWd=620.

Ripper2k, Download the utility from the manufacturer to format this flash drive, and format it.

If we are talking about JFFormat, then it sees only this "protected" section, but when trying to format it writes "Format Fail!"

control panel - administration - computer management - left disk management .... looking for a flash drive (not to be confused with screws) and look: if there are two partitions (or nothing else), we take everything down and create one FAT32 or NTFS (according to personal preferences) ...

The protected partition is seen as CDFS and does not make any manipulations with itself ...

Similar flash drive. Also got this section, but the proprietary utility did not help. Formatted from under Linkus and got a normal flash drive without any hidden partitions.

In general, I won this flash drive. I found a way on these Internet sites of yours and decided to try: using the online recovery utility, "killed" the flash drive and to the request for recovery (when it’s suggested to choose the size), it just went out. The protected partition has not recovered. After the usual format in the media center, everything seems to be a great success.
Thanks for the support of all responded!

DownloadingreferenceJF620_OnlineRecoveryTool, insert the USB flash drive, run. When asked to reconnect the flash drive - do it. A window will pop up, where you will be offered to choose the volume of the flash drive - press Exit. Further you format in any way - there will be only one section.

As I understand it, the utility blows everything clean, and when it comes to restoring that very partition, we refuse this happiness. As a result, the flash drive remains empty with one partition.

And once I got so drunk, I contacted the Transcend Support Center. Dear friend HARRY_SHEN (Engineer, Tech Support Department) sent me a wonderful utility to remove this ill-fated section.

Rep: (1)
ripper2k there was the same problem, and now thanks to CD_ROM_Remover_v1.0.0.3 a flash section appeared in JFFormat. So thank you for CD_ROM_Remover_v1.0.0.3.rar.

I launch a miracle program that says
pliz plow in CD Rom

and what do I do not understand

Rep: (22)
Aydynych,
If you can explain what kind of "miracle program" in question, then you will try to help.

Rep: (3)
Take, gentlemen, CD_ROM_Remover_v1.0.0.3.rar Thank uv. ripper2k and I got rid of this CD ROM: rolleyes:

Rep: (0)
Everything is very simple. Download from the official site utility JF620_OnlineRecoveryTool. During the recovery process, the flash drive replaces the security_f.iso image file with some zero file (it is important that the name matches). During the recovery process, an error will appear, but the formatting will be done and SecureDrive will be deleted.

levchik-14,
Here is suchmona wait: P

Well, seriously, rightly saidpasha_550 - the main thing that you should pay attention to when buying a flash drive - read / write speed. From this, their cost depends more than on the appearance (unless the flash drive is not gold)

Rep: (108)
Yes, they differ in write speed. I here for example Transcend JF V30 / 8 GB (as it is written on it). USB flash drive as a flash drive.

P.S. Find a flash drive with a standard look (black, with a cap) for some reason difficult, everyone has some kind of designer, damn, delights. : D

Xs, I use OCZ Rally 2 ... very fast, in our area it costs no more than the usual non-name Chinese ... so I took this thing. If you can find and spare no money for the OCZ Rally 2 Turbo - take it (the fastest USB drive (before the advent of USB 3 is obvious)).

OCZ Rally 2 Turbo - take it (the fastest USB drive (before the appearance of USB 3, of course)).

“Most”, of course, loudly said, but one of the leaders:http://www.fcenter.ru/forprint.shtml?onlin...dware/hdd/23795 :)
PS Also, by the way, I use Rally-2. Satisfied.
