Program for PC access to the Internet via a mobile device. Connection is via USB. Attach an early free version of PdaNet.
Does it work as well as paid 1.16?

Update: oftopik: has native crap built into HTC Hero that doesn't require third-party software

I tried to install it - but during the installation process on my computer I began to ask the adbd.exe process to be killed on my phone and click "ok" after. Killed - but the wizard did not respond, but again began to issue the same message about the murder and the installation did not continue.
What can be done?

Rep: (1099)
yastff33,
Not on the phone you need to kill the process but on the computer!

Rep: (24)
I tried to install - hangs on the installation of the application on the device. Replacing firewood, detecting the device, installing drivers for the modem are normal, but on the applet installation on the device it hangs (you can interrupt). What is rake?

Rep: (2)
Statist kill through processes
then everything will work

Can someone throw the full version?

I killed everything that I had before for synchronization from HTC

Is there a permanent solution?

Rep: (0)

For a start, I suppose not all HTC. :)

Rep: (13)
but surely you are right: blush:

Rep: (43)
Ah you ...
There was such a problem, gentlemen.
Since I work at a state enterprise, the Internet is not there in principle. And the Internet is very necessary. : rolleyes: Help, eh? : sveta:
I downloaded from the PDANet forum from the header (for androida and BB, respectively). Put on the android. I did everything as described in the FAK on the Samsung I5700, and began to put on the PC, but (!!!)
when a window appeared in the program, saying that you can now connect the device and firewood should be installed, they were not installed ... Accordingly, the installation did not continue any further, and you had to roll everything back. I downloaded the client from the market (version 2.17, which by the way, unlike the one indicated in FAK, did not offer me to download the version for BB), but the result did not change.
Having rejected everything, I made a complete installation of the disk that comes with Samsung i5700, and after tried to install PDNET again. Since the third time he got up ... But now when trying to connect the BB, the PDNET version gives an error 613 (first the message of the number, login and password program appears next to the travelength), and two (!!!) modem suddenly found among the devices Android Modem and Pdanet Modem. I tried to connect them with standard Windows tools, but one of them constantly reports that is busy, and the second is that the equipment is turned off.
What am I doing wrong? (WITH)

Rep: (43)
Actually, the problem was solved.
If anyone needs this program for Samsung, then you need to install the version of PdaNetA216 on the PC (please stick it in the header).
It’s better not to put any firewood with the disc included with the Samsung i5700. After the first attempt to install PdaNet, it will generate an error and a link to the site where you can find firewood to solve the problem.
Download this link from Samsungusb ... zip and unpack it to the root. When reinstalling PdaNet, we specify Windows this folder for the necessary drivers. Then everything works just fine

Rep: (40)
Such a situation, connecting to a PC with a PC, allowing access to the Internet using a Wi-Fi PC, but using 3G, you cannot go to no, although on your computer it says there is no way out. Is it possible that the modem function specifically blocks the communication opertector (it is written in the tariff plan that it is forbidden to use as a modem). If you put a SIM card in another phone, everything works. Is it possible that there is some kind of lock in the firmware?
For reference: telecom telecom operator (France).

Rep: (21)
Here they talked about the possibility of using HTC devices as a modem. Can a thread tell in detail how this is done?
