Solving a problem with the transition to new time zones.
Ways to solve the problem
First of all, make sure that you have the automatic time definition option in the date and time system settings, otherwise the system can overwrite the correct values set by ClockSync, and you will again get the wrong time and time zone. In addition, other applications that change the time zone, for example, Navitel navigation program (for it you can find a separate update of time zones, or disable this option).
So, that's what you can do to solve the problem with incorrect clock transfer in your Android device (use one of the options below):
Go to the system settings of the date and time, set the time zone in which the correct offset in the clocks for your region is valid according to the current version of information about time zones in the system (even if it is outdated). For example, for Moscow, where in the opinion of the phone is now +4 hours, you can set the time zone where +3 hours. This is the easiest and most reliable method compatible with all applications, use it if others do not work.
In the ClockSync settings, enable the "Autonomous Base" option, download and install the application with the data from the Play Store, then select the desired time zone from the proposed list. The difference from the previous option is that if in the selected time zone there are transitions for winter / summer time, the ClockSync will automatically translate the time at the right time. The downloaded base will most likely be the new one that is used by the system, so you have to disappear problems with incorrect displacement or clock arrows. In addition, this base provides a greater selection of time zones.
In the ClockSync settings, enable the "Deterpix time zone" option, select the provider, enable the "Offset from the database" option. In this case, the system time zone will be installed automatically, and the offset will be taken from the relevant base (set separately when used).
In the settings of the ClockSync, enable the "Override belt" option, then select the desired offset in the clock relative to UTC (+03: 00 for Moscow). In this case, the system time zone is forced to be installed in a belt with a specified displacement, for example GMT + 03: 00 (without automatic translation by the system for winter / summer time).
The most radical solution is to update the system data to change the belts on the latest version, for this, in the options ClockSync there is a link to the TimeZone Fixer program. This program requires root, in addition, your device must be able to write to the system section (S-OFF on HTC devices). If you understand all the risks of such a solution, use this program, after which your device will show the correct shift for all regions of Russia. Many thanks to the developer (Forceg) for this application.
