Sunset

Attached Image

Sunset or sunset- the moment of disappearance of the upper edge of the star below the horizon. The concept of sunset can also refer to the whole process of crossing the horizon by a visible disk of the star. Due to the influence of the atmosphere, sunset is observed somewhat later than it would have been if there was no atmosphere.
Sunset is often brighter than sunrise, and with brighter reds and oranges. During the day, the Sun heats the surface of the Earth, decreases relative humidity and increases wind speed, dust rises into the air. However, the differences between sunrise and sunset may in some cases depend on the geographical position of the observer.

: D ... It’s just that it’s not always bad ... I just took it and covered it with one piece of the sky - it turned out quite imperceptibly.
I remember at the institute I did the assembly drawings in the Word when I didn't know about the AutoCAD, so I'm not used to it;)

but in this frame I just really want the central symmetry of the frame! She would be very right here!

And why? For example, I do not feel the need. It turned out almost symmetrically (-:

Without ironic generalizations, please. Reasonable criticism of specific works is encouraged without becoming personal. Respect those around you.

OK, without ironic generalizations: I consider it illogical and in the overwhelming majority of cases compositionally ungrounded location of the sun in the center of the frame. Camera viewfinder - not an optical sight ...

And with the dawn you can? : P

I saw this picture almost every day for a month (as long as the weather was normal). View from the office, so it was not possible to remove it in another way, it’s a pity there is no way out to the roof ..

BombilCalabasovin fact, he tried to do as close as possible to how it really was) Such a picture was only for a couple of minutes, until the sun appeared over the horizon
Perhaps really overdo it)

Thanks for the link - I saw it once and then I lost the link, it will come in handy)

BombilCalabasov @ 23.1.2009, 11:59*
Solar_x,Panoramic frame ... it seems that he seemed to be cropped from above. Still, I want to continue for these "arcs". And at the exposition, I would still “drag” him into a darker scale, so that the place of the sun was not a whitish spot, but some texture of the clouds.

Yes, I later realized that there was not enough of the second row of pictures that would just complete the arc of the clouds. By the way, the gamma of this image is almost completely close to the “natural product” (at least on my monitor, which works in tandem with the calibrator)
BombilCalabasov @ 23.1.2009, 11:59*
With a gull, the frame was also caught not badly, but ... it would look just wonderful (in my opinion) if it were a vertical frame with the sun on top. Now the entire left half of the picture actually carries no meaning. The most interesting part of this frame - the sun, the seagull, the solar “path” - everything is located on the right side and even “pressed” to the frame border. Now I just want to cut off and throw away 60 - 70% of the left, leaving only this vertical.

This is a snapshot from my homeland, from Abkhazia, and I cannot “cut” my homeland: no: Personally, I am also not very happy with this square cropping, but if you take a vertical shot, cutting off so much to the left, then the outsider will have a question, but what horizontal unfinished structures cross the picture (breakwaters for us)? And I also just liked the diagonal of the coast in a haze, which adds a certain amount and depth to the picture.
