The gaps can be, I think this is such a design, the latches are not accurately made, there was no dust anywhere, everything is clean.
I have a noticeable gap in one place, but I filled it with stained glass paint (when it dries out like a sealant) it fills well and until it dries it can be easily removed from the outside, resulting in a glued gap that is less noticeable.
