Since 2015, I have been using Yandex navigator on my car stereo with Android. The version is old, modern on it does not go. And now, after the new year, the route has ceased to be built, it simply writes "it is impossible to drive through" while everything else works. Reinstall and reboot result is not given. In the internet I saw that many users of old versions faced a similar problem. Has anyone been able to handle?

Similar problem.
I use Yandex.Navigator in the head unit (hereinafter - GU) in the car and on the phone. GU Car4G Jet on Androyd 2.3.3, Yandex.Navigator version 1.56.

Somewhere a week ago, the route ceased to be built, when trying to build it on any point on the map it says "Could not build a route: no connection".
The Internet works in the State Unit, traffic jams are shown in the Navigator itself, the location cursor is determined on the map and moves as the vehicle moves. Internet in the state distribute from the phone.
I tried, by the way, to connect the Internet via USB-modem. The result is similar - the Internet works, the route is not built.

In the course, Yandex stopped supporting the old versions, my Yandex navigator 1.6 above GU does not support ... Everything works except for building routes ...

Yandex.Maps version 3.84. not updated on their devices, as seen from 2015.
Since January 22, apparently, support for this version has been turned off, in my (apparently, and not only my) opinion, the most stable and concise.
Like everyone sitting on this version, when trying to plot a route, the error “Service is not available in this region” comes out.
This, apparently, is the last attempt to squeeze out the users sitting on the old versions into the mineterzhe-marketing new version, where everything is there ... except for the normal maps themselves. We have been driving for more than a year without seeing on the map data on traffic police ambushes and cameras - and we cannot display them. Because "without a declaration of war", as in this case, they were simply chopped off "from the center", without updating the application through the Play Market. Even if someone wrote to tech support - I think their requests went unanswered. As you can see, this did not expel users from the old versions - someone because of a habit, someone because of the impossibility of updating, someone just because of the rejection of new vyrglazny versions, someone unwillingness to see advertising.
Now - the last attempt, to deprive users of the main functionality, for which this application was put - navigation.
And, of course, transplant them to the version with advertising. As they say, if you do not understand what is happening - see where the money is ...

Let me briefly list why I still sit at 3.84 and do not accept the new version:
- The blue line of the route that does not interfere, is not cartoon-puffed up, as in the new versions of J. Navigator.
- The entire screen area is given to the cards and related information - speed, time before arrival, three buttons - that's all. No scoreboards with rows, where to turn, etc.
- Offline bookmarks. I do not want to have in my account information, where is my home, and where is work.
- The complete lack of advertising.
- Logical route construction
- The map does not move away / comes closer with each change of speed or approach to the intersection. Furious. If you need to bring closer - press a couple of times on +.
- I do not need clues as to where the restaurant is, and when the public transport will come. If you need to find something - I will go to the search engine. And our transport does not go on schedule anyway. And when it goes, it is often enough, so the application is not needed for this. Yes, and I move, mostly by car.

I was asked to update my technical support letter ... I think that my answer in the spirit of the above will simply ignore me as a user ...
Perhaps, with a certain critical number of requests from different users, this will force to somehow react to it, but I don’t hope so. In general, I think that we, as users of long-forgotten versions created by engineers, who have not been in Yandex for a long time, will not pay attention. It is easier to disable than the possibility of offline routing in the century-old version by the IT standards of old, given traffic data sent via the Internet ...
