I used SE X1 at IFA. The impressions were very positive. The device is very high quality assembled using metal. It works pretty fast, 2 times faster than HTC Diamond. I liked the keyboard more than the HTC Touch Pro. On HTC TP, the keys are stuck one on one, and because of this, erroneous clicks are very frequent. The keys on X1 are smaller, but due to the distance between them it is more convenient to type. The display is just gorgeous about him I think not even worth talking about. It can only be noted that there are minimally noticeable edges around the display, which will positively affect the use of protective film. I also liked the joystick, due to the protrusions it is more convenient to work with than in Diamond or TP.

Despite the fact that this is the first VM communicator from the SE and it has been a difficult birth since the announcement, which were accompanied by those. problems, SE tried with all the heart and released a very powerful communicator, which, in addition to technical advancement, has an excellent design and assembly.

Maybe my outlook is limited, but WM applications known to me are not resource-intensive in terms of RAM - 70-80 meters of free operative at the start of the system can satisfy any adequate needs of the user (in WM up to version 6.1 inclusive, to be completely accurate). For example, I can hardly imagine a person capable of perceiving information from more than 7-8 browser windows, while for some reason keeping a bunch of software stuff in the background ...

My opinion - such a number of operatives in WM is needed only to create an ergonomic and effective (visually) interface. The attempt to free the operative with the demolition of this very interface just for the sake of its free volume is obviously meaningless IMHO. Looks like chasing a benchmark for a benchmark

USB host is not there. Devices from Germany, England or from all over Europe will work perfectly in Russia and the CIS. It is certainly possible to Russify SETool 3, which is in any SC. The keyboard will have to be changed or better ordered in England and then a laser will apply Russian letters and all the same the English interface will be much clearer to German in an extreme case.
