This firmware is for H96 MAX X2 4 / 32Gb and 4 / 64Gb models only. Do not try to use it on any other device. They are not intended for ANY other model, even if it has a similar name, they will not work and can damage your car. Do not flash these files if you do not know which device you have.
Firmware flashing with PC and USB cable. You will need a male-to-male USB cable, for example

Unzip the zip firmware image. There must be one .img file inside. You do not have to click on it to open or extract, we will use it later. If you see an error message on your computer about image corruption, please close the program, the file is required for use on DroidBOX, and not on a PC.
Download
https://mega.nz/#!rP5W...33XZUrWarjAWCQhP-c_8wEand open it. You will be asked if you want to install Amlogic's USB Burning program.
When first opening, if the menu is not in English, click the second menu and select English.
Open the “H96 MAX X2 License.zip” firmware license and copy its contents into the “license” folder in which the Amlogic USB Burning Tool has been installed. This is usually "C: \ Program Files (x86) \ Amlogic \ USB_Burning_Tool \ license". After unpacking, there should be twelve files in the "license" folder.
Back to the Amlogic Burning Tool software. Click on the File menu and click on Import Image. Go to the “Downloads” folder and select the firmware .IMG file from the USB folder.
You will need to wait a bit while it parses the file.
Now click the "Start" button.
Disconnect all cables and peripherals from your device. Connect the USB cable to the USB 2.0 connector (black, not blue) on the side of the device. Then connect it to the computer and let Windows automatically install the necessary drivers.
After that, the firmware will flash. If it shows a red error message; disconnect the USB cable from the device, wait a few seconds, then reconnect it. You may need to do this several times. If after 4 times a more serious error occurs with the device, contact DroidBOX support.
Once the process is completed and declared successful, you can click the Stop button and disconnect the USB cable. Connect the HDMI and power cable. The first time you boot the device, it will take longer than usual, until it completes the setup for the first time, this is normal. Once you see the home screen of the launcher, please leave the device alone for 10 minutes while it reinstalls the applications.
Applications continue to install in the background and, if they are interrupted, will not resume at the next boot.
