TWRP needs to be taught to define the encryption method itself as well as to learn to understand it ...
From what I read about it, the hardware method is based on the functions of the processor. There are actually not so many methods, especially in the android itself, they would not have started a zoo and produced a bunch of incompatibilities. The password only allows access to the encryption key. And the fact that a normal TWRP does not appear because there is no one to do this, most likely. Yes, if found, then everything will be rested on another problem. As far as I remember, OTG does not work in it, and here everything depends on the sources, which are not there at all.

* F @ stor,
Even though I don’t understand anything in this, but it sounds strange .. "you need a password to access the key"
And in my password this is the key to decrypt data. would know twrp key nothing more would be needed

Not. If you change the key, you would have to re-encrypt everything, and this is a few hours of hard work of the processor. When changing the password re-encryption does not occur. There is an authorization level for which you need a password. As in any token, the password is only needed to access the keys that are stored in the hardware. And I suspect that the key is not rewritable, and if you slip the memory chip / memory into another hardware, the result will be a failure.

Another question is how to get the password then !?
If the android uses standard Linux kernel authorization, then we need to load the kernel in order to pass authorization. After receiving the authorization, we get access to the key / s with a corresponding request (do not forget about the rights and groups), or authorize in the request process. But if they did something of their own ...
Passwords are usually always stored as a hash. When you enter a password, it is hashed and the hash is compared. It is quite difficult to decrypt a password without knowing the exact algorithm. Therefore, even having obtained a hash, it will be difficult to get the password.

I ask you to remove the two previous posts, the result that was not invented by me, I consider it useful to add (to clarify the cap at your discretion)

Problem: After installing TVRP on bv 9500 pro.

1) on the switched off body, they clamped + and on / off .. caught fire - released on / off (this is understandable)
REQUEST FOR PASSWORD FROM TVRP APPEARS

Solution: 1) In the first, the SD card must necessarily be !!! without it it seems that it will not work (we are cleaning the DATE) until it took nothing from the old bv ...
2) (correct if not correct, but I did it like this)) in TVRP STAVIM MAGIK (or get the root of the SU first) from the SD card
AND ONLY THEN
3) formatting the partition (Purge ->Selective cleaning ->/ data (format data)). (at the same time all your data and programs are lost!) and the subsequent unencryption by patch of the / vendor section) PATCH IS MADE through the TVRP by searching on the flash file of the encrypted (SM attachment) file must be uploaded to the CD in zip archive .... with it and install.

If someone wants to leave the partition encrypted, then simply skip the password entry step when starting TWRP. For root, you need to flash the boot partition, but it is not encrypted. With this design, it will not be possible to make a nandroid backup from TWRP (since it is impossible to decrypt the user data section). Theoretically, it remains possible to make a FlashTool dump as a backup.

why not in the air?

In the air comes an update, and this is the firmware.
You can certainly install from the card, TWRP can install an imagejmg

Hmm .. I thought the updates come through the air to update the firmware itself to the current one.
Okay ..
In short, the firmware for flash ..
Etozh after it all re-configure, fill contacts, interrupt logins ...
In short, we are waiting for the pioneers, yeah.

* sergeey1980, the firmware was already on the body ... now I have to rearrange a lot of software ... I’m trying to do it.
In short, the golden truth, do not rush to flash, wait for the reviews ...
