The fact that microswitches are covered with a common rubber part does not mean at all that they are made with a “rocker” and are somehow mechanically connected to each other. Well, in general, I do not understand why they should respond to pressing when the book is sleeping. I believe that this is possible only if there are any problems in the implementation of the cover, i.e. the book will go to sleep after the button is pressed when the cover is closed (why would it be?). A contrived general question, I think.

Plastic is usually scratched at times.
Dust, crumbs, cats are contraindicated to such a screen without a cover, I think.
Even small scratches will impair reading at a certain angle or depending on the light.

Light sensor has nothing to do with the case. There will be no automatic adjustment of the backlight to the lighting conditions.
Not about that plastic speech.
Mobius - has a substrate of plastic, not glass, which allows bending without damage. Dust, crumbs and even cats on the substrate will not fall.
But the contast of such screens is lower, in any case, was earlier lower. Approximately 10: 1 vs. 16: 1.
Therefore, what interests me most of all is what kind of contast will be, in my opinion, this is the most important thing.
