Instructions for switching to custom firmware after miui.

1. Switching to custom is carried out without restoring data, so if you need to save something and then restore it, useВ® Titanium Backup , Mybackupor any other program.
Photos, and music can be just on the PC. If you want to come back, then backup to TWRP.
Before backup in TWRP, we delete any lock!
2. Download the necessary firmware, gaps (arm64, according to the version of android, which are needed). You can throw on a memory card, USB flash drive, or PC (then transfer to the phone).
3 We go to TWRP, do full wipes (system, data, internal memory, both caches), after rebooting into recovery, doing data format (to decrypt data, encrypted by default), reboot again.

Installing a custom kernel.

1. You must have a backup of the stock core, boot (with your firmware), better even a full backup of the firmware. Kernels come with bugs, or you just did not like the kernel.
2 All the latest kernels are in zip format, installed in TWRP as a regular archive. After installation, you can make wipe caches.
3 Installing another kernel is desirable to do on the stock core.
