Do I understand correctly that a native camera can save photos only in jpeg format?

You can enable save immediately and jpg and dng. This works if you shoot through pro mode. On the other modes, it will save only jpg.

raw format

DNGit's not exactly RAW. The lossless format, but the data in it is no longer raw, includes the color profile, metadata.

There is a question:

The phone has two cameras. Shirik and telephoto. Shirik faster telephoto, but there is no "cinematic" pictures. A telephoto, that's bad luck, does not want to work in low-light scenes.

Question: Is it possible (no matter how) to manually make the camera work with a telephoto lens? Well, I need it, so that the frame was noisy, but shot at 50mm analog.

Probably you can, patching the camera applet, estessno if you have a root

* tungus3333 , All so. This is a glare from light sources. Direct at an angle to any light source (at night) and there will be the same effect.

this is not a case

already 2-3 years ago it was said that these are the glare of the external light source from the lenses inside the lens unit of the camera module .. i.e. intramodular glare. It is observed in everyday life, for example, at night when viewing a bright light source on the street from a dark apartment through double-glazed windows

Also recently noticed a point when shooting against a strong light source. At first I was upset, I thought the speck of dust got into the camera module, and then I discovered the same thing on note 4 and calmed down)

Hello to all. And I got a similar situation. Prior to this, on s7, s8, I did not observe this. Night, auto mode.
It feels like a glare from a flash.
Do you think this is normal?
