Device description
The Mavic 2 Pro is the world's first quadcopter with an integrated Hasselblad camera; and the Mavic 2 Zoom is the world's first folding quadcopter with optical zoom. Based on the design of the world's most popular Mavic Pro copter, the Mavic 2 has a powerful platform with a new stabilized camera and advanced shooting features such as Hyperlapse and ActiveTrack for easier and more dynamic shooting. Impressive flight times of up to 31 minutes and a more advanced Mavic 2 video transmission system allow you to get great shots with unrivaled convenience and stability.

Mavic 2 Pro: Excellent Hasselblad Image Quality
A camera produced in partnership with Hasselblad, the leader in medium format photography, Mavic 2 Pro is the first quadcopter with an integrated Hasselblad camera for taking photos of superb quality and color.
A 1 ”CMOS sensor has a 10bit Dlog-M color profile. This camera is capable of capturing 4 times more color gradations per channel than the Mavic PRO camera, providing maximum processing flexibility and the amount of data received. The Mavic 2 Pro delivers 20-megapixel photos with true-to-life colors using Hasselblad's unique Hasselblad Natural Color Solution (HNCS) technology, while also allowing you to adjust the aperture in the f / 2.8-f / 11 range to work under different lighting conditions. With support for 4K 10 -bit HDR Mavic 2 Pro can be connected to a 4K TV with HLG support for viewing material with realistic color display.

Mavic 2 Zoom: Dynamic perspective thanks to optical and digital zoom.
Equipped with a 1 / 2.3 ”sensor, the Mavic 2 Zoom is the first consumer DJI copter with an optical zoom camera to dynamically change the focal length for more creative shots. With the Mavic 2 Zoom, you can show the subject closer by combining optical and digital zoom to achieve the equivalent of 96mm focal length, shooting lossless video in quality up to 1080p resolution. Hybrid autofocus of the new camera combines phase and contrast methods, which is 40 percent faster than before. Photographing is carried out with a resolution of 12mpix or in the new “super resolution” mode, which uses optical zoom to automatically shoot and glue 48mp images inside the copter, which is ideal for landscape photography.
The exclusive Mavic 2 Zoom feature - Dolly Zoom is a new feature previously available only to professional operators. This function creates a changing perspective with automatic zooming and flying away from the object, while maintaining the same object scale in the frame.

Both cameras shoot 4K video with the highest details with a bit rate of 100 Mb / s and using the H.265 codec to ensure the highest quality in the subsequent processing.
For photographers, new possibilities of expanding the dynamic range have appeared - shooting and stitching together several frames without “phantoms”. In the version of Mavic 2 Pro it allows you to get a range of up to 14 steps, and in the Mavic 2 Zoom up to 13 steps.

all this is taken into account

Just in case, I’ll ask. In the "For Developer" settings section, did you specify FakeGPS as a program for a dummy location?
I have a Mavic Air. It all goes on it. Like on Pro 2, I don’t know for sure, because I don’t have it. But it would be nice to find out by joint efforts.

indicated FakeGPS as a mock location program?

I do not select a specific program. A dummy location is simply resolved. Moreover, in all programs that use GPS, everything works (navigators, etc.), but in DJI GO it doesn’t, it shows the real location, even with wifi and SIM card turned off (while the drone is indoors).

If you have Android, then it should be selected. Unless it was in the old versions, I don’t remember anymore. Of course, I do not say 100%, but maybe that’s why you can’t deceive DJI Go 4.
This is done in the "For Developers" settings section as in the screenshot.

I have Flyme, you can just turn it on or off. All other programs see fake coordinates, i.e. in theory, the substitution works. Yes, and I turn it on indoors, I should not catch the phone at all.

Unlocked the FCC for 500 rubles ..)

And how do you assess the difference with what it was before unlocking? Much further and how is the reception?

Not. On the first Mavik, only on some firmwares it is possible, but on the second and even more so it is impossible

Accept the replenishment of the owners of the Mavic 2 Pro. I have been using it for a week. There are both a bunch of enthusiasm and annoying cons.

Oleg Vereshchagin @ 10.15.18, 19:00*
bmove, please describe in more detail your impressions

Well, let's start with the cons.
1. The batteries are still not enough for anything. In my purely subjective opinion, you need to have 4-5 pieces for complete comfort. But at a price of $ 140 per battery - it's still a pleasure. I still have 2. I think next month I’ll get a couple more.
2. Slightly did not like the fact that the plugs on the “belly” with the synchronization button and with the compartment for the memory card look ABSOLUTELY the same and are not marked in any way. I sell after a week of use, I constantly confuse them. It's like with a USB cable, which cannot be inserted into the slot from the 1st time))
3. At a distance of just over a kilometer, the connection begins to be lost in this way. During this time I lost it 15 times already. Moreover, the connection is lost dramatically. 5 seconds ago it showed full connection with the remote control, and then the BAM and just the connection is lost. But this can be attributed to the fact that I do not live very far from the military base and the airport, and we already have a flight altitude limitation of 120 meters, maybe there are still some interference / jammers. Figs will be tested in other places.
4. Even though I have fairly good memory cards (Sandisk Extreme Pro), the drone still writes SLOW MEMORY CARD. Although it records 4K / 30, it seems quite normal.
5. Geo-positioning is not entirely accurate, often when you "return home", it can land about a meter and a half from the take-off location.
6. Well, it’s such a completely subjective one - even in Cinematic Mode - the rotation of the Drone and the camera are too sharp. Sometimes you want to make a super-smooth span with a turn, and the picture turns out to be too twitchy, because of too sharp a camera turn.
7. A standard bag from Fly More Combo - complete shit.

Now to the pluses.
1. Batteries still got better. Well, or power supply is more efficient. Today I shot 25 minutes of video from one battery, and returned to base with 14% of the battery. It pleased. Since the first that managed to squeeze the maximum - 21 minutes just a flight.
2. The gimbal of the camera has become noticeably MUCH better than the 1st generation.
3. Various software chips and tricks that he can perform - such as Rocket or Drowne - look very impressive on the video.
4. Shooting in low light is a cut above the 1st generation.
5. Tracking objects simply at some not real level. I walked along a narrow street, with a bunch of trees, parked cars and went behind the house, the drone has never lost me, perfectly flying around all the obstacles.
6. Two additional customizable buttons at the bottom of the remote control - a smart solution. I hung there autofocus and turning on the backlight on Dron's belly. Conveniently.
7. Concerning the lower noise from the Drone, it seems to be such a thing that it was not that it began to hum more quietly, but the humming itself became different, lower (in terms of tonality) and not so annoying.
8. Well, again, purely subjective - the drone has become much "smarter", and in terms of losses. Much faster returns to the position to return stable communication with the remote control, in case of signal loss. Works better with obstacles. And in general there is a persistent feeling that he himself helps you in flight, and forgives some inexperience and curvature.

6. Well, it’s such a completely subjective one - even in Cinematic Mode - the rotation of the Drone and the camera are too sharp. Sometimes you want to make a super-smooth span with a turn, and the picture turns out to be too twitchy, because of too sharp a camera turn.

This is customizable from DJI Go. Here islinks to detailed video instructions for setting up the Mavic Air. I do not think that for Mavic 2 the settings are very different.

As far as I know, this requires a device on the android (which I do not have), and this is not entirely safe. So I'm better off without an FCC

* Dimitry bmove,
Not only android. On a stub too. Nothing dangerous. Almost 2 years I flew with fcc and a config on the first Mavik. Everything is perfect and much further.

Just the same, this is only possible with apple devices. It puts some kind of modified dji go. I have an Android and on it so far this is not possible, but I would like to receive it.

Hello, I am the owner of mavic 2 zoom, the quadrics are super, but there is a problem with the dgi go 4 program, after I start shooting the video, the program simply flies, and if recording is in progress it is not possible to turn it on. Only after stopping the recording from the remote control button, the program turns on.

Someone came across this?
