Customization Recommendation

1) As for the image settings for Apple Tv and PS4. For both, I set the PC mode, set the backlight to 85, the contrast to 90, the color temperature to normal. The rest of the controls in this mode are not available, as I understand it, the set-top boxes themselves are already responsible for the image.
2) One more thing, everything needs to be set up when the content mode switches to hdr10 mode, here the dual setting is obtained in normal and HDR, at least for me. And I can also play with me +4, well, who can and +2 -3 enough, adds dark.

I purchased the model L55P65US, I planned to use it as a monitor for a computer and a TV set-top box.
An unexpected detail of the image output by this model was revealed - when displaying most colors, the subpixels glow through one, which creates the matrix's RGBW effect, although the matrix is, of course, a normal VA RGB.

EM 191 COST ST5461D07-1, was firmware 300 with the same effect, set 379, reset to factory made.
HDMI 2.0, 2160p, 60Hz, Game or PC modes, GTX 1080, RGB full or YCBCR 444 - everything is as it should be.
The point is not exactly in the source of the signal, the same effect is observed when the drive is connected.
All color fonts, the edges of color objects, etc. become "loose" and fuzzy.

Because of this, you can forget about calibration and use as a monitor.
Whether the matter is in some tricky setting, or in the brains of the tele itself.
The most annoying thing is that the viewing angles for the VA matrix are not completely bad, the pixel response seems to be the same, there are no highlights on black and blackouts on white.
