Linux Pro - part 2: installation on SSD without losing Windows!
part 1

Launched a USB Live CD (fat32) with Linux image and started the installation
When installingREFUSEDfrom the option to put Linux next to Windows and chose to mark up MANUALLY.
The list had three disks - my flash drive, 32GB and SSD. It is easy to distinguish them in size.
In the ssd section, I made Ext4 a partition with mounting to "/" and at the bottom I chose (this is a must!) Installation on the ssd ("sdb") partition
(internal memory is called "emmcd1")
With this markup, there is no disk encryption.

Encryption markup

1) An ext4 partition is created in "/ dev / sdb", the "/ boot" mount point is 900MB in size
2) A "physical encrypted volume" is created behind it, we define the password

Only many drivers are missing, for example, the touchscreen does not work. WiFi and Bluetooth work, keyboard and touchpad too.

If you are talking about Asus T102HA, then it is much weaker. I have already said that the tablets on Atoms X5-X7 are very inhibitory, even the browser stumbles on them, not to mention some more serious work. And its screen is smaller in size and resolution, 10 inches for work is very little.
But the quality of the assembly Asus certainly will be better.
In general, these are two different devices: E203 with an installed SSD is almost a full-fledged laptop, and if you connect to the monitor, then the replacement home desktop. A tablet on Atom is basically an entertaining thing - to read, to watch a movie, to watch a little, to type a simple text maximum. I do not see in this version a lot of sense, especially for such money. For these purposes, more suitable tablet on Android or iPad.
