Description:
The CPL project began as a fork of the Rootless Pixel Launcher from amirzaidi (Amir Zaidi), which added support for Google news feeds and the Countdown widget to AOSP Launcher3, and also added many fixes to the original AOSP version. Gradually, overgrown with functions and additional features, CPL has become a separate project that provides many options for customization and fine-tuning of the interface.

Answers to some questions

Regarding the current version of CPL, which is based on Oreo:
I do not plan large-scale updates for her, i.e. the functional part will not change much more, there are a couple of functions that I still plan / want to try to implement, but I repeat, I do not plan large-scale updates, the function of folders in the menu, for example, led me to the repository of the media library with such code that I just unable to comprehend
There are plans to release bug-fixes and code optimization, which I wrote in the initial stages, removal of unnecessary resources from apk, just before-importing all possible optimization code from the branch for P, well, I’ll add translations if translators appear
In the near future - I will release a CPL in the market, because all requirements for publication are met

I’m not developing a version based on P at the moment, when / if I put something on it - I’ll post

Why are some functions available only after purchasing the support application?
The answer is simple - I would like to make some money at work on the CPL project. The scheme, when I am an application completely free and I am ready to listen to problems and wishes in the telegram channel, has not fully justified itself - so I decided to add additional functions only for those who decide to support my work financially.
And yes:
1. I hope that the majority of CPL users are adequate people who understand that the work I have done is worth a reward.
2. Approximately 90% of the functions are provided in the normal version for everyone.
3. The remaining 10% is not the most necessary for everyday use, but a pleasant addition for a person who has decided to thank me for my work.
4. Support the cost of the application - 1 dollar or 65 rubles - absolutely not a very high amount for an adult and a working person (although for an non-adult and not working too), and personally, I’m in the framework of не it’s not really a shame to spend ’
5. Due to the insane fragmentation of the Android platform, I cannot guarantee that on every device, any manufacturer and version of the adroid CPL will behave consistently - therefore, users have the opportunity to install the application, use it, and decide whether my work is worth it money and whether to buy the application support.

Which would work in a similar way as the Nova Launcher (for which I love it) you make a backup copy and immediately choose where to save the copy file.
