Just for me, an important point (and you are the first to say that it works) - in practice, it turns out that you don’t get anything from TWRP from the disk of the phone itself, if you have already started a freshly installed OS, and it was encrypted - you have to put the files on an SD card or via OTG. The disk of the TWRP phone (including 1020) cannot decrypt even with the correct password - just cancel press to access further menus.
