Description:
The program "Password Storage" is designed to store confidential information of the user of the program, such as a bunch of login / password to some Internet resources or other programs, pin codes of credit cards and any other short text information. It is especially useful to use this program to connect to personal accounts on the Internet, where complex and non-repetitive (from one site to another) passwords are required. Security rules require the use of different passwords to different resources. Remembering many different and complex passwords is difficult, so users often use the same and / or simple passwords, sometimes using transliteration, that is, typing a well-known (for example, Russian) word in the English keyboard layout. It is quite difficult to remember the characters of such a password in the English layout and enter such a password on the smartphone. Password Store greatly simplifies this process, offers the user strong (randomly generated) passwords and stores them in encrypted form based on a single master password. There are many similar programs in various network software stores (Google Play, App Store, Windows Store). This program differs from most of them in ease of use, as well as in that it does not store data in network storages (“clouds”), and at the same time provides synchronization between different devices on which this program is installed with the same master password.
The program is implemented in the following options:
- for Android
- for Windows versions not lower than 7
- for Windows 10 (build 15063 and higher)
- for smartphones and tablets based on Android OS version 5.0 and higher
- for iOS (iphone and ipad).
Data synchronization between two or more devices on which the program is installed is performed only when the following conditions are met:
- Devices are connected to the same local (WIFI or LAN) network.
- Master passwords in programs are the same.
- The stored data in the programs differ
