4. Flash recovery from TWRP twrp-3.1.1-0-<your-filename>.img
5. Make a backup: system, data, boot, recovery.
6. Flash unlocked boothttps://mega.nz/#!bYUC..._BBCs8rl5A_soEpXpv9BdIfor your device, it is desirable to collect your boot, everything after backup in the TWRP folder will boot.emmc.win, rename to boot.img, parse in Android Image Kitchen, change ro.secure = 1 to 0 in default.prop, collect boot and sew.
7. In TWRP, transfer the system partition to RW, try to boot, if bootlap, transfer to RO.
8. Flash root, choose supersu or magisk, flash init.d and selinux.
9. Try to boot, if the system partition is edited, then everything is fine if it hangs or the bootlap to restore the backup.
10. If nothing is restored and not loaded then readhttp: //lenovo-forums.r..00026_170707_row_qfil/
p.s. The instruction does not claim to be universal, but at least I did it and the system partition can be edited, it is difficult to programmatically kill the device and you can experiment.

B - Magisk
10b. Downloading Magisk from the topic®Magisk - The Universal Systemless Interface. We upload the downloaded zip to the tablet and Install ->magisk.zip.
11b. Reboot from TWRP to the system. In the developer's settings, we remove the extra daws that were put in the process.
12B. When the new OTA arrives: do items 3.1 ->five; eight; then restore the backup boot.img. (optionally we make backups of the system and data, it is unlikely that they will be needed but OTA is the case ...). Reboot and install OTA. After that, you can restore Magisk by installing magisk.zip from twrp (Section 10B)

How to flash init. D and selunix?

Try init.d:https: // androidfilehos ... id = 9390248398092764054
It is put as usual apk - further everything is intuitively clear.

SELinux in attache. Sewed from TWRP.

Defeated sahara fall.
Who gets the error with the qfil firmware, PUT THE FOLDER WITH FIRMWARE Images ON THE WAY:

C / Program Files (x86) / Qualcomm / QPST / bin.

Regarding the installation of drivers, a working firmware is laid out on lenovo-forums.ru, but the instructions for installing drivers for 7-ki. On 10-ke all drivers are installed automatically, the Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 driver is installed in EDL mode ( tablet off, hold the volume up and plug into the usb port). Qfil should also be used from

C / Program Files (x86) / Qualcomm / QPST / bin / QFIL

(or start by clicking the start button, all applications, folder QPST, QFIL), and not from the folder with the firmware.

Did I understand correctly that this is the 31st firmware? Does it make sense to be updated? What's new in new updates? In general, the current version suits me, everything seems fine ...

Yes, this is the 31st firmware. If you are very concerned about the security system, you need to be updated. Everything else practically does not change. Plus some bug fixes, if any, in the system. The rest of the sense to update almost none.

How to roll back from 38 to 33
Put the OTA update in the root of the memory or the flash drive, in this case the 33rd (as far as I understand, it is you who cares about the update, not the firmware). Having rebooted into the stock recovery, select the update item (and specify which update from the memory or from the USB flash drive) specify the update file and flash it. Since you will be putting the 33rd update on top of the 38th, you may have to do a reset after the update to the factory settings, in order to avoid the glitches from the 38th update.

How to reboot into stock recovery?

Turn off the tablet. Next, press the volume "+" and turn on. A logo appeared, the release is released, after a couple of seconds you release the volume. And then the tablet in a few seconds will enter the stock recovery.

Today I bought this tablet in Svyaznoy (Lenovo Tab 4 Plus TB-8704X 8 "LTE 16Gb). GIS Touch. Updated to 41 firmware and performed a full reset. I didn’t notice any problems. :)
