This is my first introduction to ZTE products. Before that, he lived on a highscreen.
When moving from one phone to another.
1. Viber declined to register my phone claiming that I do not have a network and the Internet (everything is ok).
2. Constantly hanging warning that the "contacts" consume the battery.
3. Face recognizes from 2-3 times at dusk and from 1 in the sun.
4. A lot of strange and yet incomprehensible applications installed by default.
5. In black, it looks slightly "plastic."
6. The most irritable is the data transfer icons from the wifa that disappear and appear, and if to the left of them the alarm icon is not fun at all.
There are no updates "fresh".

Today is exactly a week since I received possession of ZTE Blade V9, which means that it is time to leave a short review about the device. What I would like to highlight:

1. Competitors

3. Filling

1. Competitors.

The requirements that the phone had to meet were as follows:
* Large screen (>5 ") with a ratio of 18: 9 (2: 1)
* NFC availability
* Must not be expensive
* Black colour

And we get the following competitors:
* Honor 9 Lite - the price did not suit - 15000
* Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus - not satisfied with the lack of NFC
* Huawei P Smart - price did not arrange - 15000

Quite by chance I saw a review of ZTE Blade V9, the price of which turned out to be very attractive :-)

2. Appearance
---------------------
At the time of purchase on sale was only black (Onyx) color, which is completely satisfied.
Glasses are glued on the front and back sides.
On the front side there is a very well polished glass with a 2.5D effect (so that it doesn’t mean :-) The frames on the right and left of the screen are very thin (about 1.5 mm) and because of the 2.5D effect it sometimes seems that the edge of the screen coincides with the edge of the frame phone.
But above (8mm) and below (11mm) the frames are not so small.
On the back of the glass is also very polished and has a pattern (some dots and notches, it is difficult to describe). In clear weather, shimmers in dark blue.
It is assembled well, although in my copy the tray with SIM cards is slightly recessed into the case and the power button has a slight backlash.
Weighing? Well, it seems that this is a solid brick, only very slippery. Yes, it is VERY slippery.
The case itself is aluminum, which is understandable by the pleasant coolness in hand.
On the front side when the screen is off, you can only see the camera's eye and the speaker slot (the proximity sensor and the indicator are not visible).

3. Filling

It does not slow down. All applications open quickly, although some are not instantaneous (there is an assumption that some, before showing something, crawl into the Internet for an update and only then display the data).
All built-in applications can be removed (Google feed, which are simply disabled), which is very convenient.
During the week of operation I received 2 glitches:

- if you do something for a long time in the camera, switching from mode to mode, and then exit it with the button back, then the Camera application drops and throws it onto the lock screen. It happened 2-3 times;

- at the entrance to the channel in the telegram, the screen began to flicker (not much, but noticeably; if you left the channel, it stopped) and continued to flicker until all the previews of the media files in the channel were loaded. This was only once and maybe the problem was at the application level.

So far I have not met a single application that would not be able to stretch to the full screen. The screen corners without rounding, so nothing is cut.
Androyd version 8.1 compared to the 5th (which was on the previous phone) stepped far forward :-)

There are two sliders in the sound settings: ringtone - the volume of the call and the volume of notifications - the volume of messages. There is also a mode switch and you can see how the level of the sliders varies depending on the mode.
And under the button "Melody and sound", you can change the melody and even select your own (for example, MP3 track), if in the list of melodies from flipping to the bottom click +.

I confirm the problem! The problem is that the built-in SMS application (which has three dots) clogs the system sound settings and thinks that it is multimedia, i.e. reacts to the slider sound "Music, video, games", which, of course, is not correct.
The solution is the following: to install another program for SMS. I took the standard google app from the market. A new proposal immediately offers to make it "the default". After that, everything is getting better right away, the new application responds normally to the system settings: if there is sound, then there will be a melody, if it is vibrating, there will be no sound, there will be only vibrating, if there is no sound, then there will be complete silence, only the indicator blinks when received.
For reliability, you can disable the embedded application (could not be removed)
A melody for SMS can also be changed in the settings of the application.

I have this behavior only if you turn off the device and turn it on again. When you restart, just enter the pin code (albeit 2 times) and everything works without questions.

It seems the device is planning to sell in Russia and in Europe. And in China, no. Therefore, Ali is unlikely to find something in the near future.
There's even a problem with bumpers / covers - 3 options. Well, the model is quite new, in April it just went on sale. Maybe later.
