Surface Laptop became the first classic Microsoft laptop (without a rotating or detachable keyboard). The device is controlled by an Intel Core i5 or i7 processor depending on the version. The maximum amount of RAM is 16 GB, the capacity of the solid-state drive is up to 1 TB. There is a USB-A connector, Dolby Premium audio system, Wi-Fi 802.11ac wireless modules and Bluetooth, a webcam with HD-matrix. A curious solution was the use of artificial suede on the body around the keyboard. Also worth noting is the short key travel - 1.5 mm. The PixelSense touchscreen display has a 13.5-inch diagonal, a resolution of 2256 × 1504 pixels and a 3: 2 aspect ratio. The laptop weighs 1.25 kg, which is smaller compared to the 13-inch MacBook Pro. Another advantage lies in battery life, which Microsoft’s laptop achieves at 14.5 hours. In addition, the manufacturer claims that the Surface Laptop with a Core i5 chip runs 50% faster than a MacBook Air on Core i7. As a software basis, the new operating system Windows 10 S is used, which is faster and has a higher level of security compared to the usual “ten”. The latter, in particular, is expressed in the impossibility of installing programs not from the Windows Store.

It is a pleasure to type, and they say about all the reviews. The thing is different, if you sit for days on end at the test set, then Alcantara will probably become unusable, although it depends on the tidiness of the user.
I use the device for more than six months, I am happy with everything. The only thing that should be taken into account, you need to monitor the cleanliness of Alcantara and regularly clean it, but I think this is minor. Personally, I have not lost the presentation.
Previously there was a matte screen, so the glossy is slightly embarrassing, especially with daytime color, which makes it seem like the screen brightness is a bit lacking. Externally, the device looks just bombed.
