git config --global commit.gpgsign true
git config --global user.signingkey AAAAAAAA
AAAAAAAA - key fingerprint (refer to gpg -K)
Check:
git log --show-signature
git show<commithash>- shows the signature (---- BEGIN PGP ...)
You can still sign and tags, you need to add the -S flag, but this I do not use - only commits signed
