Who has a smartphone on handplease check if Camera 2 Api is activated(more details here -Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro - Modification and decoration (Post Nevio # 51262340) ).
On my redmi 4, the activation of camera 2 api raised the quality of the photo an order of magnitude higher, and I'm sure that it shoots better than honor 9 lite.
