Ford Kuga II for filling and work. (It may differ depending on the car model.)
1. The main power supply (sound, lights, steering wheel and kan are on it). It also has CAN RX / TX - to connect to the bus, but where to connect them? And the point is that if without them the radio tape recorder allows you to control the climate, knows the doors (opening), parking sensors and turning on the camera via CAN. I think it is for very low configurations, optional. Also, there are two wires KEY1 and KEY2 for analog connection of buttons on the steering wheel (I did not connect them, because the idea of the buttons from the steering wheel go through the bus).
2. USB cable - there are two USB bells
3. GPS / Glonass antenna (about Glonass has not yet verified, did not have time, but they say that it works either this or that).
4. A harness connecting the main unit to the screen.
5. Block for camera input with power. But! There are two bells - just CAM-IN and S.CAM-IN - as it turned out later, S.CAM- is the input for the side camera. There is an option in the settings when when turning the steering wheel an additional camera is turned on (if it is installed).
6. AUX input (L.R.Video)
7. RCA outputs
8. This cable remained incomprehensible to me. In theory, on all the previous ones (S100 / S160 / Kaier), he connected to the former Ford screen, buttons went along it and some other info (usually there were 4 wires - the first pin is the steering buttons). Two wires SWC, SWC-GND and Tulip CAMERA hang on it right away - this is a mystery to me at all (or does Restayl camera signal now come from the camera in that bundle, not according to FAKRA?). In short, I never figured out where to connect this farm - there is an idea to connect SWC with KEY1, but SWC-GND cannot be connected to KEY2 - there should be an idea of 5 volts for them there. And the earth in general should go third. There are connections where only KEY1 and the ground are used, and here it is completely incomprehensible. Moreover, the steering wheel buttons are beautifully caught on other tape recorders by the kan-bus.
9.This is a cable for connecting the USB input from the armrest. It is assumed that the miniUSB from the armrest is removed from the SYNC unit, plugged into this wire, and this wire is connected to the radio. So we have USB in the armrest will be just a USB-input radio.
10. Another Chinese joke is an OBD2 connector, it connects to a regular OBD2 connector under the steering wheel. Used only on the main screen to show turns and speed. There are only two pins in the connector - for CAN HI and CAN LO. It will be necessary then to see if it can be used in some thread Torque. But the presence of a permanent stuck device in OBD2 does not please me at all, and after playing it can be turned off.
11. Radio adapter
12. External WiFi antenna! Now everything is catching in the district)) It is not clear just why there is one more antenna on the main body (glued with tape).
13. As far as my brain is doped, it’s just a bracket for fixing the main unit (two screws in the ears).
