All on the machine, no settings / debugging / filters / postprocessing. From the cycle: Got out of pocket-got-photographed. The only thing where it violated this rule, in Boke mode on, oddly enough, the iPhone.
IPhone stubbornly every time cut the HDR. Did not turn off. HDR on Mate 10 is off.
Since I have / had the opportunity to compare real colors and the intensity of light (object lighting) with reality, I will comment on each photo, it looks like reality or not. For me, a quality photo is a photo that looks like it sees the eye.

Please note: all my arguments are purely subjective! I am not a professional in the photo and I do not pretend to the title of even a home-grown expert. Therefore, my conclusions may be wrong.

My personal opinions on Mate 10 camera:
I Mate 10 camera definitely liked. In most cases, it works even better than the iPhone. It is clear that it is correct to compare not with 7 Plus, but with X, but so far only 7 Plus is on my hands. There will be an opportunity - I will immediately post a comparison with X.

I want to share the first superficial impression on what I fell down. I did not set anything up, did not go anywhere, did not insert SIM, the phone was taken out of the box. Pleasant to the touch, monolithic, nowhere nothing creaks, but very, VERY slippery. My S8 + without a cover in his hand sits stronger, and Mate 10 is just a wet bar of soap compared to him, without a cover it will not last long, it will fly regularly.
