On the application version 4.1.15 MOD 2.0 rus, I have an OTG battery charge and is displayed in the status line (top right) and in the “Drone Battery” menu, you can see the status of all battery banks.

I had similar symptoms on the latest version of the application from the Play Market, if my memory serves me right. If it will be very necessary, ask, I will put the application from the market and try it.

Personal experience (for newbies):

2. Before doing anything with the device, I find out the reviews of people who have already done this. The device is expensive and there is no desire to ruin.
3. At the moment, on my smartphoneXiaomi redme note 4demolished the official DJI GO4 and delivered:

a) DJI GO 4 415 MOD 2.0 rus (as a working one) + maps of Central Russia are loaded. They are very necessary.
And this version provides a complete set (at the moment) of functions, including from chips for "Mavik".
Modes:Normal, Quickshot, Activetrack, Tapfly, Tripod, Gesture Control, Cinematic, Follow Me, Waypoints, Terrain Tracking, Home Lock, Course Lock.

b) Djigo 4.1.3 - Auto FCC No Update and Firm Check ru route (as backup for experiments)
Both copters work fine. I tried many mod versions, these two get on my smart without dancing with a tambourine.

4. It turned out to connect the drone to the PC through the programAssistant 2. This makes it possible to change the settings in the drone itself.
Which ones - you need to separately study your own tasks (what you want from the drone).
Before you change anything, you must carefully read the manuals from more advanced people who have already done this.
Not sure - do not change anything, this may ruin your device!
I dug up a bunch of material: forums, articles, modding tips, instructions in Russian, and more.

5. Without a remote control, flying far, fast and high will not work (the Sport mode is activated only from the remote control), which will reduce the capabilities of the drone! Therefore, if you want to have a full-fledged device, do not skimp, buy with the remote control. Or find the remote control separately and buy a used one.

Overall happy with the device:made in good faith, hung with sensors and with "brains" so as to simplify and secure its use as much as possible, it is durable (unless specially broken). Optimally, you need to buy 2-3 batteries to the main one (on average 3k each) if you need to use it for a long time.

There is only one minus: price, but you need to understand that this is not a toy.

Can I link to version 4.1.3 so that there is a set of chips from Mavik? I myself also use it as the working version 4.1.3, but for chips from Mavik you have to use either 4.1.9 or 4.1.14 or 4.1.15
