In general, did the update arrive? How much did it weigh? (I had Android 8.0.0 in the description).
Are updates installed without permission?

My phone shrank in my pocket. I could not accidentally allow an update in my pocket - the phone is password-protected and unlocked by a fingerprint.

Maybe he broke himself?

Flash kernel
Attached Image

From the author
Hello everyone, this is my personal core for Pixel 2. Although I am not a superstar kernel developer, I really know how to do this.

My philosophy on kernels is pretty simple:
Always follow Linux news. Corrections will be within 24 hours after they are released.
Kernel stability is better than dubious functionality (you can make minor edits that do not reduce stability).
Safety and stability are paramount. Vulnerabilities are fixed as soon as they are revealed.
Functions will be added only as needed (I have a list of things in the FAQ, which I will NOT add, even if required).
I hope you will like it!
Important information
I refuse to respond to error messages that do not contain clear steps for repeating a problem, a log or dmesg. Follow thethis guide (eng), to do this.
Features
Here are the main features of the kernel (feel free to explore the code on Github):
Updated to date with the November security update (requires a minimum of the November security update).
Update this version with the latest version of Linux upstream (4.4.98)
Original patches from CAF targeting on GPU, touch screen / video, memory and sound
Linux source patches for distributing CFQ and media memory
Control wakelock
Westwood as default overload algorithm
Several subsystems converted to use energy efficient workstations
Compiled with Clang 4.0 (Google by default)
Hides bootloader unlock from SafetyNet
Installation
NOTE. These steps apply to both a clean installation and an upgrade.
  • Install the latest version of adb and fastboot:developer.android.com
  • Download the kernel image from the spoiler above
  • (OPTIONAL) Download the boot image if necessary.using Magisk.
  • Reboot to the bootloader, using either restarting or holding the power button and decreasing the volume or adding:
    adb reboot bootloader

  • Sew the boot image. Run the following command in the image folder and make sure fastboot is in your working directory:
    fastboot flash boot<boot_image_name>.img

  • Do the same with the dtbo image:
    fastboot flash dtbo<dtbo_image_name>.img
    Reboot

Android 8.0:

Android 8.1:

Directory Description:
alpha:very unstable or contains experimental changes; can only be used if you want a little to participate in the development.
beta:Normal, tested build; loaded and does not have any fatal problems
rc:The same as the beta version, but this assembly did not reveal any problems for at least three days. I recommend running them when they go out, because in a few days they will be transferred to a folder with stable builds.
stable:Same as RC-version, but this assembly did not reveal any problems for more than three days. If you don't know which one is better to use, just use this one.
archive:Old, stable build.

All build problems other than stable should MUST be sent.via Telegram. I keep my code open, but I don’t let it go to XDA. I recommend you to participate in the search for errors, so I can quickly correct all errors. I ask you not to reload my kernels. If the main site does not work, use a mirror. Navigate to the desired file and click the download button. Thank!

* Kisakuku,
I do everything according to the instructions, at the moment "patch boot image" writes "The target version of Magisk does not support patching the boot image"

* Kisakuku,
I boot from img, I zip through twrp, but when I try to re-enter TWRP, I get "No command". Tell me, please, how to solve?

Last firmware walleye-opd1.170816.025

* dexxxqqq, and, in the section/ systemno recovery_from_boot file or similar? It needs to be removed. It resets custom recovery to stock after a reboot. Or try to find instructions on the XDA, I would help, but not yet at the company.
