About power consumption:
With a backlight level of 4 and Wi-Fi turned on, the book read (from 100% to 10%) 11,400 places.
This volume is approximately equal to the book of the format "Frame" in 480-500 pages.
With Wi-Fi turned off, the book read 21,000 places. Up to 10% charge.
Yes ... it turns out using Wi-Fi reduces read time by almost 2 times.
Although it still depends on the manner of reading.
For example, I was very surprised when, after acquiring a magnetic cover, the reading time decreased markedly.
Then it dawned on me that during this period I read this way:
Reading for ten minutes, then distracted for five minutes, then reading again.
When there was no cover, I simply left the text book, then continued.
After the appearance of the cover, he began to close it, respectively, the book fell asleep and began to synchronize with Amazon and so many times. Hence the increased consumption.
PS On PW3, with the above settings on a single charge, read The Lord of the Rings. Now I looked - there are more than 30,000 places.
The difference with the Oasis, of course, is significant, however, yesterday the PW3 was sold without regret.
