xc15-45 in quality is about the same as xc16-50, but at the wide end it soaks slightly in the corners (uncritically).

If you are talking about Fudzha xf18-55, then it is noticeably sharper and almost a lighter stop.

If so, take it without hesitation. And the glass does not suit - you can find used for more or less sane money. We saw at xf18-55 at flea markets around $ 260 and xc16-50 somewhere for $ 90.
