SSD speed results are not very objective, as they were performed on a working system. In reality, the speed may be slightly higher.


Somehow I ran into one problem, I’ll talk about it if someone suddenly falls into the same situation.
I often use a 4G modem, it gets very hot during operation, it usually works for me through an extension cord, but here I just inserted it into port 3.0. Watching a video in HD on YouTube, after about half an hour, I noticed that the laptop began to dull and warm up, while the modem was boiling. After another 5 minutes, the laptop simply turned off and showed no signs of life. When I tried to press or hold the power button, nothing happened.
Most likely, the battery overheated and the battery controller went into protection, while, naturally, the device turns off, since there is nowhere to eat from. To solve this problem, you just need to insert the charge and wait a minute,either remove the battery and insert it into place. Further, the device will work as it did.

Yes, I also drove tests yesterday - I was upset. cards alas is not an option for using a second SSD ...

And the disadvantage is that the first SSD is only 32 gig ... I have a laptop the second day and it is already fumbling that there is no place, although I have not even managed to deliver anything properly. :( And did someone already take it apart? Is it possible to change the SSD to something more capacious there (more on the SSD)?


P.S. I put a couple of toys on an external hard (2.0 usb) - Skyrim does not slow down the word at all (you can play quite comfortably), but LiS: BtS slows down noticeably ... RWBY generally slows down unplayable ...

With SD, the option is only to use an external USB adapter.
Although I generally had the idea to buy an external SSD, connect it to USB 3.0, install the OS there and fully use it. Yes, it will be a little collective farm, but I think the option itself is not bad. And in extreme cases, you can simply insert the SSD into another PC and use.
The only thing that pushes me away from this idea is what will be the speed of the SSD from port 3.0 and whether the OS will get in there to boot from the SSD. If there are knowledgeable people, a big request is to share experience or guesses. I plan to take some more or less good SSD for 6 thousand, a maximum of 7 on 240-256 GB. Naturally, if there is a place for ideas, then I will share the experience of operation.

The plus is that with this SSD it will be possible to start any machine that supports booting from an external drive.

Installing 8 Windows will allow you to cut half of the disk for the android. A tablet with a green robot and 4 gigs of RAM is cool even today.
That is the point. No one will sell a ready-made and thought-out solution for a penny, and you can finish it in one evening.
