Fly Power Plus FHD review: design, ergonomics

In the budget segment of smartphones, for obvious reasons, it is difficult to implement the latest fashion trends, for example, on “high” (18: 9) and “frameless” screens. But the gradual migration of popular trends can be traced quite clearly. For example, a metal case and protective glasses with the effect of 2.5D have just recently been the lot of only the most advanced models. But today it is difficult to surprise even inexpensive fingerprint scanners with inexpensive devices, and dual rear and front cameras will soon become just as familiar.

Here and in the budget Power Plus HD, the back panel is just made of metal, while at the same time, on top and bottom of it left radio translucent antennas. The texture of rough grinding looks good on a gray matted surface. The use of metal gives all the design the necessary strength, and the laser processing of the rim of the lens of the main camera, the site of the fingerprint scanner, as well as the body edges, emphasizes the minimalist style.

Installing custom recovery (TWRP) via the SP Flash Tool and getting root rights

This instruction implies:
That you have the following files:
● Flash tool - program for firmware recovery, the current version SP Flash Tool
● Scatter.txt - to download recovery.img in Flash Tool MT6737T_Android_scatter.txt (9.17 KB)

Instructions for installing custom recovery:
1. First of all download SuperSU UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.82.zip (5.64 MB)
archive and place it on microSD (or device memory). You do not need to unpack this archive, just copy it to the root of the memory, next to other folders and files (no need to hide in folders)
2. Download the .img recovery image for your device and place it in a hotel folder on your computer. Be sure to rename the image to recovery.img and nothing else. Download the scatter file (a file in .txt format, usually located in the folder with the firmware for the device) and place it in the same folder where you placed recovery.img, to make it as shown in the screenshot below:

* Folder name should not contain Cyrillic characters, only Latin letters and numbers. Make sure that there are no other files in this folder anymore (go to the root of drive C :)
3. Unpack the archive with the program Flash tool and run the file from there Flash_Tool.exe , as administrator (right click on the file ->run as administrator). If a warning appears stating that the Scatter file is not loaded, then simply click OK to continue.
4. Before you open the program, click on the button. Scatter-loading in the right corner of the program window. A review window opens, go to the folder where it lies recovery.img and select the scatter file MT6737T_Android_scatter.txt
5. Before continuing, make sure that the device is disconnected from the PC. After selecting the scatter file, the recovery tool should load in the Flash Tool window, make sure that the check box is located opposite the RECOVERY section and nowhere else.
6. Next, to put the program into the standby mode of the smartphone connection, click the Download button in the program window (if a warning pops up indicating that not all files are downloaded, click OK to continue). Flash tool we run the right mouse button on behalf of the administrator.

In general, today I felt this device in Euroset. Price, of course, horse for such - 9500r. In our day it sells for 8400r, but is not available, just order through the site.
The points:
Appearance: It looks very good. Despite the huge battery, quite thin. The back cover is metal with notches. The color on the site is gray, in fact, with a slight purple tint. The volume and power buttons on one side, convex.
Screen: Matrix really looks like IPS. I liked the colors. Glass 2.5d, which one is a mystery, but definitely not a gorilla. Oleophobic probably not. Finger slides across the screen rather bad, divorce badly erased. The brightness unscrewed to a maximum, and I would not say that in a well-lit room of the cabin, I hurt my eyes. IMHO, most likely in the bright sun it will not be enough. Also, I was killed by the presence of onscreen buttons. Downstairs dofiga places so that you can put the touch.
Camera: So-so. There is HDR, but it is only for show. Photos in the cabin turned out noisy, although, I repeat that the lighting there is excellent.
Interface: Here I was ready to cry in bloody tears! I have never seen so many Yandex services in my life !! It's just hard! Okay, let's skip it. I launched almost all the pre-installed applications at once. Of the 2 GB of RAM, quite a lot of free memory remained - 600 MB. But nevertheless, when switching and minimizing applications there were small lags. From which I conclude that even an overclocked percent can not cope with the load in the form of FULLHD.
Verdict: I, as a true fan of Xiaomi with aliexpress, I can say that the fly this money is clearly not worth it !!! I originally thought to give this device to my husband (he is just the opposite of buying equipment in China). Of course, he will have the last word, but I do not see a single reason to give almost 10 mowers for this.

All the above is only my subjective opinion and bears the goal of offending someone.
