Getting Root Access, TWRP Custom Recovery Firmware

Important!As it turned out, there are several revisions of the apparatus - we find out the revision as follows:

This instruction is only suitable for revision - FS408 and FS408N with EMMC memory type.,
It is strongly recommended not to try to flash TWRP with this instruction on devices with NAND memory - get a brick!

To flash the new recovery with a large number of functions, as well as get Root access, use the instructions below.

Important! Before performing all actions, check your USB cable for integrity and operability in advance, make sure that everything you need has been downloaded and / or installed. - Instruction

1. Download SP_Flash_Tool_v5.1744 to your computer
2. Download the Scatter file required for flashing the new recovery to your device
(Note: You need to download an archive with the name "Scatter-files.rar", then select the desired one for the appropriate type of memory installed on your device)
3. Download to your PC a new recovery, which is available by reference.
(Note: It is advisable to put a new recovery in the same folder as the scatter file)
4. Download the archive "SuperSU v2.82.zip". Further, it is necessary to simply load it into the root of the memory card installed in the device, but do not unpack it.
5. After everything has been downloaded, you can proceed to the firmware of the recovery itself.

- Part One: Installing a new recovery (TWRP)

Step 1. Turn off your device.
Step 2. Connect the switched off device to the PC using a USB cable, wait for the message on the computer "Installing the driver for the device successfully completed." If the driver was not installed automatically, install it manually by downloading the installer by reference.
Step 3. Disconnect the USB cable from the PC.
Step 4. Run the program SP_Flash_Tool as administrator by clicking on the file - "flash_tool.exe" with the right mouse button and selecting the corresponding item.
Step 5. In the "Download" tab, find the "Download-Agent" line, to the right of this item, click the "Choose" button and select the file - "MTK_AllInOne_DA.bin"
Step 6. In the "Scatter-loading File" column, select the scatter file by clicking on the "Choose" button, navigating to its location.
Step 7. After you have selected the scatter file, if your downloaded recovery.img recovery file is in the folder with the scatter file, the program will automatically tick the "recovery" box to detect its file.
Step 8. Next, to put the program into the standby mode, connect the smartphone, click the Download button
Step 9. Reconnect the switched off device to the PC using the USB cable to start the custom recovery firmware procedure.
Step 10. After the successful completion of the firmware, a window appears with the inscription "Download: OK" and a daw on a green background.
- The custom recovery firmware procedure is complete! You can disconnect the device from the PC.

- Part Two: Installing SuperSU archive on the device through the recovery

Step 1. Turn the device off using the "Volume Up + Power" key combination and hold them until the screen turns on
Step 2. You will see a menu, use the "Volume Up" key to scroll to [Recovery mode] and press the "Volume Down" key to select. You must get into the recovery menu
Step 3. When you first start, a warning will be displayed, just check the box so that the notification is no longer displayed and drag your finger along the bottom bar to the right
Step 3. Click the "Install" button, then click to find the "Select Storage" button, select "Micro SDCard" and click Ok.
Step 4. Scroll to the desired file (in our case, this is SuperSU v2.82.zip) and select it by tapping it once.
Step 5. Swipe down the bottom bar to the right to confirm the installation.
Step 6. After installation, you will be prompted to make a wipe Dalvik-cache. It is recommended to do it.
Step 7. Restart the device by clicking on the “Reboot System” button and sliding your finger to the right to confirm.
- Congratulations! Root access is received!
