In order for the battery from 214th to start charging at 4700m, you need to rearrange the controller.
We take any battery from 4700 (if it is original, but there is Chinese, then at least take AKME or Cameron Sino) and remove the controller from it.
Akkum (both from 4700 and from 214th) consists of 4 parts. Sticker wrapped around plastic frame. Two elements and a controller with 7 outputs soldered to them.

1. Remove the sticker from the old battery from the 4700th, we see two elements with a soldered controller in a plastic frame.
2. We take out these elements with the controller from the frame. They are held on two teeth and removed easily. The controller itself is a microcircuit in the end with 7 outputs and strips like zinc which are soldered to the elements.
3. Take the tester and find + and - on these soldered strips. And we plan them.
4. We strip the strips from the elements and the controller is in our hands. The strips are marked + and - as I wrote above - this is important!
5. We disassemble the battery from the 214th similarly and mark + and - on the elements from the 214th.
6. Solder the strips with the controller from the 4700th to the elements from the 214th according to the intended polarity)
7. Putting it all in reverse order.

As a result, we get a new battery, two elements from 4700, and a controller from 214.
From the remnants you can collect akkum for 214go. but with old items from the 4700s.

For future owners, I can only say one thing: there are and, moreover, there will be devices, cooler than 4700 in terms of processor, memory, etc. But if they do not have VGA - sad. Since after the VGA monitor to look at something lower quality is already annoying.

Let's start with losing the bones to various magazine and online articles about 4700;)

"624 megahertz is the fastest today ..." - the processor is the most, but the machine itself has a competitor in the person of Dell Axim 50v. And somewhere else, in my opinion, there is such a percentage.

"Hard buttons are located on the point, so it is impossible to feel their pressing tactilely!" - a pebble in the IXBT garden - you could only write this without holding the PDA in your hands. The buttons are not located on the touchpad, but nearby, and their pressing is well noticeable.

Even in the descriptions 4700 constantly write that he has a USB-host and RS232. Usb host may have, but apparently you need to buy a separate wire (did not ventilate this issue). But where he has RS232 for me apparently forever remain a terrible secret.

And then about the cover. Absolutely stupid cover on the screen ... Which among other things leaves ugly marks on the body.

It is also inconvenient that the headphone jack, the power button and the space for the stylus are too close. When the headphones are turned on in the device, removing the stylus and pressing the button becomes wildly uncomfortable.

And the button itself is too tight ...
