Immediately I want to start with a comparison (so far only in terms of functionality, because I did not hold it in my hands, but I read / looked at a lot) with such a thing asreasnow crosshair.
The thing is remarkable, especially the cost ...
It seems like the gaming experience (speed, response) is not inferior to XIM4.
Another fat plus is the full opportunity to register macros.
But for me personally, there are several drawbacks:
1. There is no possibility of setting from a mobile device.
2. There is no way to "play" with ballistics.
3. No customization via OsX, Windows only.
4. A small number of game profiles ready.
It seems like they should give a test to Reasnow Crosshair, I'll tell you more in detail there.

For a long time I played on HORI T.A.C. four
But then I decided to try XIM4.
The sensations were very interesting, as if I had moved from a Zhiguli to a foreign car.
It became very pleasant to play.
The question arises: why, because the principle of the console, sit on the couch and play. This is yes. but in my case, I play at the table, on the couch I only play FIFA and which thread are games like Horizen, Uncharted, etc., where a big 4K TV set is needed to transmit beauty.
Most of the time I play behind the monitor in Rainbow Six, Battlefild, Battlefront.
Now in these games, every second plays on the mouse, and such comrades are very sad for ordinary players with gamepads.
So I, in order not to waste my nerves and strength on the op, decided to punish such comrades by their own method.

Um ... More on advertising looks like. Any such device works as a signal converter, therefore, there is a delay, so playing BF4 with a mouse through a converter is even worse than with a gamepad.
Can anyone besides the topstarter refute or share personal life experience? :)

This is clearly not advertising, just a convenient device.
About the delay ...
I, personally, felt it personally when I moved with HORI. There she was, plus this ping (especially in the Rainbow).
Even if it is, and they say that it is (0.2-0.4 m / s), the speed of aiming (your physical) will be faster.
Googled forums before buying, almost everyone says that XIM is the best device to date.

By the way, I can throw off the link, there you can take a test, and tell yourself about the sensations.

I agree completely ....
But, damn, when it comes out of the keyboard / mouse, which is licensed by Sony itself (HORIfor example), then people start to run with them, to spoil the nerves of other players. Here it is no longer important against or not, here either you go to the dark side, or you delete this game, but there is a third option (not mine) sharpening your hands under the gamepad so that the muscles of the muscles would burst.

I want to play on equal terms

in some games, equal conditions are clave / mouse .... already, for in a rainbow, every second one runs around on a mouse.

I agree, I myself recently moved from a PC to a PS4, somehow adapted to a gamepad, I have a lot of experience playing jokes on a PC and without false modesty, I bent in many online games, the gamepad is a completely different game and there are other players its a thrill, but even to imagine disgusting what the game will be like if I connect the mouse to the keyboard, it’s stupid to fumble everyone the game and at the same time knowing that you yourself are a wimp and. Well, such a pleasure, just like those small readings from a PC with their crooked little hands that do not want to learn.

Yeah ... standard thinking is striking in its mossiness.

The console is with the gamepad on the sofa in the first place. A mouse and keyboard - this is a PC sitting in a chair at the table.
It is strange at all to produce such things officially, if you have not done cross-platform servers before. Well, they used to be all not then united into one mess.
In general, I hope that all this works is really bad.

Although, in such mass shooters as BF1 or BF4, super precision is not needed in CS.

* xander1122,
Yes, the point is that Sony understood that the legalization of mice and clavs is an additional income. I have already said that I play mainly on the monitor, the telly is only for certain games.
Here is an example from life: playing with friends in a rainbow for money (sometimes). So keep track of who plays on what this utopia, although we understand that the mouse is definitely there. Therefore, we use them ourselves. Accordingly, the rules do not specify this.
Sony opened the Pandora's box, its ligization. There is nothing to be done.
But, in my defense, I’ll say that I don’t use macros (a knife or two controls from a pistol or falling into a bed with a turn of 180, etc.) I, as a player of the old school (already 20 years of experience), do all my fingers.
And regarding the battles: many also play, but there it is not particularly relevant than in a rainbow or DOOM.
And one more thing: why I don’t play on my computer, I'm tired of racing for stuffing, every half a year there are new things coming out, and the games are becoming more demanding. Sonya costs himself, does not occupy a place, goes on business trips with me. And most importantly, do not worry about optimizing games.

What is there about comparing him and crosshair? PS: Has anyone else bought them, are they worth it?

Here I am writing about CrossHair.
The thing is interesting, even if only by the appearance and quality of the materials used (metal frame, top and bottom glass), the logo still glows very nicely.

XIM 4 is a plastic box, it looks ... cheap, well, who has those who know who do not have it:

Superficially Cross I really like it.
In fact:
It is configured only through Windows, you can adjust the sense and juggle the main buttons in the game itself. But updating and installing profiles, only through a utility on a computer, XIM 4 wins in this.
But there are many advantages:
There are a lot of settings, both general and subtle, you can prescribe macros (checked, work, but you need to delve into the study for more advanced settings, because even the button press time is fixed there), up to the steering wheel vibration feedback (if you play racing), XIM4 steering wheels do not support.
As for the game, I can’t say anything specifically, I played a little, I did not understand. Today I will play tight in the rainbow and see, tomorrow I will write.
But today I can not decide what to leave. Both devices like. XIM 4 for ease of use and ease of configuration, and Cross for looks and, again, great customization options.
Another disadvantage for me is that the program only works on Windows. At home, one computer on Windows and then my wife, I have poppies. Today it is necessary to take a working laptop home, so as not to beg)). But the forum said that they write a program for poppies.
In short, I think for a couple of days I will definitely decide what is best. But again, this is subjective, to each his own.
And, another very interesting question for the price, Cross is 30% cheaper.
And one more thing: XIM4 was developed in the USA, collected there, Cross was developed there, but collected in China.
By the way, there was an update: now there are 51 profiles, all current games, including races.
Here are some screenshots of the program:

In general, Cross is almost a clone of Venom X, only with its own nuances. All that appears in Venom X then miraculously cloned at Cross. But initially all the know-how in terms of better adaptation of the keyboard players to the console are first created in XIM4, and only then others are reworked or simply cloned in their devices.

* CAHEK_52PyC, plus something from myself add.
There is no difference in the game at all.
According to the possibilities there is.
At the same time, each has its own pros and cons.
But the most important thing for someone, I think, is the price.

I plan to take xim4, but nowhere can I find a normal review on setting up ballistics and other special chips.

* cmotpu,
And what chips are interested in?
Ballistics is a strange thing. But I have it at least corrected. Many recommend it does not touch.
At the cross with her harder.

* Postalm3x,

delays are noticeable when playing

Not.
aim fast and accurate

Yes
In this regard, xim or cross is better.

Personally, I returned Cross

It is very convenient to configure everything via the phone, I repeat once again, well, just grace.
