Same problem. On CM11 and MIUI v7, the Play Market does not want to work in any way. That just did not try ... Neither from various apk resources, nor zip via TWRP does not help. Well, on our device this was not with custom. This is your “falling asleep” - this is the transition of the phone to the diagnostic mode (if I’m not mistaken the Qualcomm 9094 in display devices). This means that you have some kind of problem with the stock firmware, that a critical error occurs in which the kernel or the system puts the phone into diagnostic mode (by the way, a very convenient way, you can backup and restore partitions, including disk partitioning) using the eMMC RAW Tool.
