Guys updated on my laptop Toshiba Satellite L505-111 with Win 10, Win 10 v1501 to v1706.
By the way, the update did not go for as long as before - only 3-4 hours!
But here's the problem ...
I understand that this Toshiba is not too modern (Intel Core 2 Duo T6600 2x2.2Ghz, RAM 4Gb, Video ATI Radeon Mobility HD 4650, HDD SataII 500Gb), but after the upgrade screen with 1366x768 suddenly become stretched to 1024x768.
All stretched as in the Kingdom of crooked mirrors! : D
I began to search the Internet, believing that I was not the first time such a happy one.
And I found an official response from most MS. Briefly it is this: put a different driver for 1366x768.
For the driver went to the AMD / ATI's website and found that the latest driver here - only for Win 8. Catalist 13.1.
I choose the method of installation "by hand".
Result: lumiere "Driver Installation ..." has 1.5 hours of spinning.
Herculean task for Win 10 - replace the driver!
And when this lumiere of the best OS over the world ?! I do not want to press the Reset!
P.S. Once again I draw attention - with drivers for Win 10 v1501 - absolutely no problems! Is v1706 so meticulously processed, it was necessary to change the driver 10-year-old from producer ?!
//-----------
The party continues.
On Reset did not reap. Just restart the notebook.
After the reboot, the old driver "from the MS" ATI HD 4650 and removed only after removing the old driver - freewheeling "new" from AMD / ATI 2012 development.
The driver, as expected, is now established within 2 minutes.
And I win back my resolution of 1366x768! Hurrah!
Once everything was very sweet in MS - until you remove the old driver, not a new set.
And, most importantly, no error messages! Just infinitely lumiere "Installing drivers ..." Cool!
