Recovery

4. Run as administrator ResearchDownload.exe
5. Click on the Load packet and select FS407_SW_20161107_SW11_FLY.pac (wait for unpacking)

Irbis SP21 firmware port in TWRP backup format.

Changes in firmware:

• The DPI value is set to 180 (standard 240).
• Removed pre-installed applications like VK, OK, etc.
• Replaced on / off animation.
• Launcher replaced by Nova Launcher.
• Gallery replaced by Quick Pic.
• Clock replaced by Alarm Clock Extreme.
• Added application for changing fonts - Fontchooser.

The firmware is provided as is. Before installing, do not forget about backup.

Installation:

1. Unpack the archive port-irbis to a folder on the memory card TWRP / BACKUPS / [your serial number] / port-irbis
2. Boot into TWRP (when the phone is off, hold down Vol + and On / Off. Hold until the part of the picture at the bottom of the screen disappears).
3. Select in the main menu Restore.
4. Select a memory card - it will write a size of 0 - just click on it.
5. Restore backup port-irbis
6. Optionally, you can flash SuperSU (do not forget to disable it in the settings - create a namespace partitioning and reboot)
7. You can also install apk - Root Booster and apply the settings in it - Extreme mode - Stability.
8. Set the developer’s menu (click on the build number 7 times in the phone’s menu in the settings to open it) - animate windows, transitions and its duration by 0.5 and reboot.

Instructions for flashing the phone using Research Download

1. Install the driver. There are in the cloud - there are 2 archives. Swing and set any.
2. Download flasher itself - Research Download. Unzip to any convenient folder.
3. Download the firmware itself - archive - FS407_SW11.zip
4. Unpack We need a file in the * .pac format - this is the factory firmware.
5. All is ready. Launch Research Download - the ResearchDownload.exe executable file is located in the Bin folder.
6. Click on the leftmost gear and select our firmware file. We are waiting until the firmware is ready and Ready appears at the bottom left.
7. Then click on the double gear - Settings - there we go to the Options tab and tick the box - Reset to Normal.
8. Next, turn off the phone. If you want, you can rearrange the battery. I don't do that - just turn it off.
9. In the flasher, press the arrow button - the firmware process will start and the program will enter the standby mode for connecting the phone.
10. We connect the phone with the Vol + key held down and look at the PC screen. As soon as you see that the download of the first FDL file has gone, you can release the volume key. The firmware will be uploaded to the phone.
11. After flashing, the phone will automatically reboot into the system (Reset to Normal option).
12. If the firmware does not start then check if the drivers are installed correctly.
13. Everything.

When installing and possibly while the program is running, you need to disable driver signature verification (in my Windows 8.1 without this, the phone does not connect with the firmware). How to disable the check for your system, I think you will find.

Increase the internal memory of the device.

Installation

1. First we need to make a full backup of the firmware in TWRP. This means we check all the checkboxes when selecting partitions for archiving.
2. Then turn off the phone. Straight from the recovery. And download the archive Reparted Fly FS407 Stratus 6 by kokokokb.zip (it contains .pac - firmware file for ResearchDownload). Unpack.
3. Then you need to flash this firmware, as indicated ininstructions.
4. When you restart the device, you will receive a semi-brick. Do not worry. The firmware is already present TWRP 3.0.2. Load into it.
5. We go in cleaning and there we select selective cleaning. We tick all sections except Micro SDCard and clear. Then we choose to format the Data.
6. And restore our previously created backup.
7. Everything. Now we reboot into the system and enjoy the increased space for applications.
