Inspect the wire from the PSU (for hernias, cuts, etc.), inspect the connectors (on the cable and on the beech), measure the voltage at the PSU connector. If you move the power connector - the situation does not change (worse / better)?

from this began essesno ... does not change. tension-19.2, stable (passport - 19).
The main thing is that he urgently needs to be connected to the network even when there are NO batteries in it ..

Make out the beech
http://www.azbooki.ru/literatura.php?name=5ser.txt
http://www.azbooki.ru/literatura.php?name=...tbukov-asus.txt
and inspect the board in the area of the network connector. Essentially, if you feel the strength to do it without consequences ... Well, or go to the service, if not.

You disassemble it and _attentively_ examine it for the presence of microcracks in soldering, a change in the color of the board, elements, charred, chips, etc.

Come on - you’ll collect ... it’s difficult the first ten times - then without looking ... any model ... :)
Look at the connector itself and near it where the power elements stand.

Good time, this kind of problem got out: I left the HP DV3 on the battery with the Alfa WiFi enabled external antenna, I was distracted, HP naturally sat down, after rebooting from the network it writes 0% battery, it charges, the indicator floats for 10 seconds and it becomes, although it says it’s connected, it’s real Charging does not go, but the Win gadget generally says there is no battery. I updated it, rolled back after the updates, but took it out, rebooted, it doesn’t go, What do you recommend, to the store? Battery year. Win7

Hi, explain someone 1 moment, in the operating rules I read that it’s not advisable to climb with the connected network (point 18), but I can’t constantly use it from the network, sometimes I need to go to a friend, then the battery runs out by 5-10% and Here is the question, should I connect it to the network again and use it further? In the rules (paragraph 24) it is written
- As for recharging a 95% charged battery, you won’t kill him right away. the controller itself regulates the charge.
that is, not immediately, but will you kill? what should I do?
P.S. I have enough battery from 100% to 3-5% for 6.5 hours of Internet surfing.
/// cool ... no one knows :(

Should I connect it to the network again and use it further?

Yes. There is protection against overcharging, as described in the operating rules. And the “memory effect" of Li-Ion batteries is absent.

I read about where to store the battery, take out not take out. IMHO it's like holding a remote control from a TV in a package. I have a proprietary utility for controlling power consumption in the laptop and I can set the mode - maximum battery life. In this mode, it charges up to 80% and stops at that. And in the event of a power outage, it is always in the wings. And as the above wrote, the battery does not heat up under heavy applications. When working from the network naturally.

Hello!

People, there is a question regarding the battery life of a new laptop ... because found nothing on the net ..

I bought this device: Acer eMachines eME732ZG-P622G32Mnkk (just in case:http://torg.mail.ru/notebooks/1019075/?tab_id=1)

The video card is powerful - the HD 6550M ... in the specifications, the battery life is up to 4.5 hours.

But in practice, a full charge of a maximum of 1, 4 hours .... What's the matter? Carry back to the store? Is there a driver for energy saving, or should it be so?

Thanks in advance for the advice ..

the manufacturer is often cunning, and up to 4.5 means at a minimum backlight with the wireless networks turned off, print text or read

It all depends on the load. 4.5 hours the laptop can squeeze in power saving mode with minimal backlight. If the load is increased, then the battery life is reduced. This is exactly what you did. All OK.

I recently bought a laptop, I have a question. I turn off the laptop by shutting it down (it is assumed that it is turned off), but .. if you unplug the power cord from the supposedly turned off computer, then in the morning the battery is completely landed. What's wrong? Can I get a battery as a control shot or is something wrong in the settings?

exactly does not go into hibernation?
As an alternative, many manufacturers by default leave USB on, even in a turned off device. If something remains stuck: hard drives, phones, etc. - it can land

The question is whether battery wear is possible up to 60% (according to the battary bar) for 1.5 years of use?
(90% of all this time it was connected to the network, the performance was constantly maximum, once a few months spent a full charge and discharge).

The fact is that now the charge level of XP does not determine correctly, at 15% it is sharply cut off, you have to set a limit of 20% or more in the energy consumption settings. Actually, it keeps 1.5-2 hours at full performance, I almost never use it in economy mode, I don’t like to wait.

It all depends on the "greed" of the manufacturer. A small example from personal experience. There is a full Toshiba laptop (about 3 years), originally
4 hours (4400 mah, 6 cell), now 1.5 hours. If I leave it for a long time without use (1 month) - a decrease in charge of 2-3% - everything is fair.
Also there is a netbook "Asus Eee PC" (a little over a year), originally 6-8 hours (5800 mah, 6 cell). Took for business trips (weight) .After some
time after the purchase noticed that inoffThe state of charge decreases 2-3% per day! He removed the battery for 10 days, -15%!
Those. "competent" developers made a diagram of the internal battery controller with their own consumption of 2-3 ma! Well, he died
during the charge at 95% (accidentally "yawned" the discharge to zero and lay there for another week), moreover, a controller of the type MAX1786, to which
while there is a lack of information, and especially firmware (for a reasonable price). I had to buy a new battery.
