a swipe traditionally refers to the set of any text, without lifting your finger from the keyboard.
what you say - it's just a supporting gestures.
By the way, I have tried a lot of things, from the ground: touchpal, swipe, swiftkey, cheetah, fleksy .... and always came back to the SwiftKey.
and all because it has the best memory effect (as Trados software translators): if we introduce similar words or even whole sentences that were introduced earlier (or are exactly the same), they are automatically displayed with its top line of words.
