There are several different systems of "smart home", I put on the Raspberry Pi 2BDomoticz. What should be done: - activate developer mode(developer mode) in Gateway. Made from the application MiHome (in the Gateway plug-in). Gateway version 2 required (with radio). - on the Raspberry Pi (as well as on the PC and MAC) is the application Domoticz. It is installed literally by one command (at least on Raspberry). The price of the system is no more than 50USD (including power supply and microSD card). - Raspberry, Gateway and light bulbs must be on the same LAN. What will be available (personally tested): - visible temperature / humidity sensors, window / door sensors, motion sensors, ZigBee sockets, buttons - white and color WiFi bulbs are also visible and controlled - it is possible to control ZigBee sockets - information from / to the sensor comes almost instantly. There are no delays. What can be done: - view and manage the states of sensors, light bulbs and sockets (on / off, change the color and luminosity of the lamps). View graphs and archive. - set up notifications (opening doors, increasing / decreasing temperature, fixing movement). Notifications can be on the e-mail, on different services push-notifications, you can set up a notification on telegrams. - customize your scripts. The complexity of the script depends on you. - there is a client application Domoticz on iOS and Android. And of course, the web interface. I can say that the initial setup is quite simple. Prices for analogs of ZigBee sensors and Xiaomi devices from other companies using similar technologies (Z-Wave) are more expensive at least 5 times. Old resident [online] Group: Friendssavagemessiahzine.com Messages 1003 Check in: 30.09.05 Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus Exynos Reputation: 132 | Good day. And where is the developer mode? I can not find on the Android version. Activate Developer Mode: China under settings ->Locale at time of writing this seems to be required. Click on the gateway, then click on about. This is a list of screenshots. The switch to enable LAN functions. Note: down the password (i.e. 91bg8zfkf9vd6uw7) to save your changes. Select the gateway in Mi Home, click on the 3 dots in the upper right corner of the screen, and then click on "about". Click on the version number at the bottom of the screen several times in a row until the developer mode is turned on - you should now have 2 additional parameters listed in Chinese. Select the first new option, and then press the toggle switch to turn on the LAN function. Write down the password (for example 91bg8zfkf9vd6uw7). Make sure you click the OK button (to the right of the Cancel button) to save the changes. The password will be needed to configure in Domoticz, to control the outlet. P.S. You need to have a gateway of version 2. The one in which there is a radio. Activating developer mode does not affect normal work with Chinese servers and its application. And another question, if you make a local server on the Raspberry Pi, I understand that the scripts will work with both the Chinese server and the local server and so that the scripts are not duplicated, you need to delete them in Chinese and add them to the local one and in general if you can disable communication with the Chinese server? In this case, the scripts are written not from the MiHome program but from Domoticz? |

In this case, the scripts are written not from the MiHome program but from Domoticz? Both types of scenarios (native and Domoticz) can exist in parallel. Scripts that are created in the MiHome application run in the gateway and in the cloud. Scenarios that can be created in the system of "smart home", for example in Domoticz, work in this system independently of Xiaomi. They (Domoticz) simply “read” the states of the sensors that the gateway sends to the local network. And control sockets through the gateway (for this you need a gateway password). Then the "native" scripts can be removed and disconnected from the cloud altogether (probably). At least, until it becomes clear how to create scripts in Domoticz. There need to understand a little. P.S. I use Domoticz, although there are other systems that also support Xiaomi. Very interesting then, I just really need a stable job,) I correctly understood that what device should be, as a server, the same pi, or nas or on a Windows computer, I'm just far from it. A bug apparently. |

Experienced [offline] Group: Friendssavagemessiahzine.com Messages 501 Check in: 14.08.09 Reputation: 15 | Tell me, and with the help of this Domoticz, you can make Xiaomi smart home friends with Broadlinkom? I want to install livolo switches and control them at 433 MHz via broadlink. Now I have everything from Xiaomi and I do not want to have two applications, but to manage everything from one. -------------------- Xiaomi mi6 |

Activation of the developer mode on the gateway is an example. -------------------- iPhone 5 A1429 16GB iOS 8.3 beta 2 |
