Became the owner of this modem from MTS.
Immediately the first problem appeared - the connection manager does not start. It gives the error "memory can not be READ". The second problem is that there is no CD drive on it, but the card reader is working properly. Like previous users, the modem is not transferred to the "only modem" mode.
I looked at the office. Alcatel site - there is NO such modem at all. There is only x300, without the index "d". The foreign brothers also did not find information about our modem.
There is an assumption that he eat the firmware from x300, but not sure. The commands in HyperTerminal should also be the same as those of the x300, but so far I have not found these commands.
I think that it is necessary to dig in the direction of he300.

Now, after all, I found a package of firewood on the office site under x300d. I'll try to pick it there.

Step-by-step instruction:
Here is the firmware itselfDOWNLOAD!!!
1. Install native software (what is in the modem itself from the moment of purchase) on the computer
2. Download the firmware that is higher for downloading
3. Close native software
4. Install the downloaded firmware on the modem
5. After seeing that 100% exit the firmware
6. Pull the modem out of the computer and remove the native software.
7. Then plug the modem back and install the new modem software.
8. Enjoy !!!
Tested on Sims Megafon and Beeline
